High quality, amazing message
The media could not be loaded. I’m a therapist and I’ve been using this book for years! I love it for my kids from ages 4-12.This book is super high quality with glossy pages. The size makes it easy to read to the kids and the photos keep them engaged. The story is great for getting the kids involved. I generally have them draw their buckets and dippers afterwards and write down what fills and takes from their buckets.I’ve seen such improves in my kids with using this book!

Great book for students to have empathy for others and to be kind to themselves as well.
I read this book to my class a few times during the year. I especially like to concept of lids. The author does a great job with teaching abstract concepts with simple analogies.

So GOOD
This is a book that every single adult should read and make part of their lives and then read it and read it to the children in their lives. I bought it for my daughter, my niece and will certainly buy it for many others.

Great book!!
Amazing lesson! Had a student ask to stay in from recess after we read this and clean everyone's desk tops for them. When they came in she asked if she could let them know she'd cleaned. She beamed as they said, "Thank you!" and I asked them if the could *see* her invisible bucket fill. Several of them said yes! They fully understood the lesson!

Wonderful concept and pictures
The concept is beautiful. 9.5 year old nephew had first read how full is your bucket and he really loved reading the concept through Felix. He liked knowing the concept of buckets, dippers and lids. Into the first few pages he was a bit disappointed as it was not in a story format. As he went through as a few examples came in, he started visualizing the story from the pictures and he could enjoy it more. He latched on to the concept very fast. Though as mentioned it's gonna need a lot of practice for us to actually make the concept habit

How to stay positive and resilient
This is second in a series of similar books and takes the idea of filling your bucket and other people's imaginary buckets with happiness or positive messages. This book explains the next part of how those good things can be removed by a "dipper" and how to avoid this by putting the "lid" on your bucket. It leads you into conversations about strategies to avoid other people making you unhappy, not allowing them to take away your positivity. It can be read just as s story, used with children needing strategies to make them more resilient or even with adults.
