Easy assembly, and room to expand
I'm a software engineer, but this was my first computer build. I picked this board because it looks like it has a lot of functionality for the price. I'm not a gamer, but having a board that can handle a high end processor (AMD Ryzen 7), lots of RAM, and a high-end video card (if I want) was important. This seemed to be a good pick, and many of the reviews indicated the build was easy.My build went very well for my first time. There were a couple of minor hiccups--I got an error code about RAM on my first boot, but a reset got me to the BIOS easily. The Bluetooth was not connecting to my keyboard and mouse, but a software update cleared that issue for me.Assembly was very easy. Having just wrestled with a different PC with an M2 drive and the tiny retention screw, I really appreciated the built-in retention cam and the integrated heat sink. The boot time is super fast, and the integrated graphics card is doing well for my uses at this point. It's nice that I can start using this PC for development work, and if I decide to get into machine learning at some point, I can upgrade to add an external video card.Overall, I'm very happy with this board, and my first build went together with nearly no issues.

Didn't last a week
Do not buy this Mobo is bad, it only lasted a week. The mobo is almost 400 dollars and it's not reliable. I have seen a few people with the same issue. Mine started showing a bunch of codes and all of a sudden it turned my pc off. I try reseting the board and many many things. At the end the board was dead. I don't know if gigabyte has a good customer support to deal whit this kind of problems. I had to switch this mobo to another one. Is frustrating to buy something that doesn't last. I was expecting a high quality board and this wasn't the case. If you're planing to buy this specific mobo read this first. It looks great but it doesn't work.

A Beautiful PC motherboard with good performance and moderate cost
I bought Gigabyte AORUS X870E Pro ICE motherboard during Thanksgiving holiday to build my first AMD PC. I was excited to build an AMD PC, having only built PCs based on Intel CPU in the past. My first impression of the Pro ICE motherboard was its appearance. It is one of the most beautiful white motherboard on the market and its parts quality is high with almost all the functions I need.Installation of AORUS Pro ICE was quite easy, especially for SSD. No tool was needed to open heatsink cover to access the SSD locations, and the SSD was easy to plug in and lock. Since my SSD is CRUCIAL T700, I also installed THERMALRIGHT HR-10 2280 PRO Heatsink with fan. The installation was fast thanks to the motherboard having enough space for the fan heatsink, but I had to remove the thermal pad from the motherboard's SSD location to allow the SSD lock to reach T700. My G.SKILL Trident Z5 Royal (in gold color) is a perfect match to this pure white board and HYTE Y70 infinite case, which makes my PC look gorgeous.AORUS Pro ICE performance is also good. AMD 9950x can be overclocked to 5.5 GHz on my system with LIAN LI HydroShift cooler and memory Trident Z5 can reach to 6400 MT/s.There are three things that this motherboard needs to be improved. First one is about PCIe5 x16 lanes plug. After plus a GPU into PCIe5 lane, it is very difficult to release the GPU card due to that the unlock button is hiding behind the GPU card and very uneasy to reach it. The second one is that SSD lock is not flexible for separate thermal heatsink installation. The original thermal pad has to be removed to fit my HR-10 2280 PRO heatsink. The third is that the installation documentation has not been updated to the current motherboard and without a motherboard laid out for each parts and connectors.I recommend Gigabyte AORUS X870E Pro ICE to anyone who wants to build a PC in white color with a moderate cost.

Great motherboard for a high end build!
I've been using this motherboard for about two weeks now, and it's been great! Installation was easy, it looks and feels like a premium motherboard, it doesn't have an excessive amount of RGB (which I'm not a fan of), and the BIOS is easy to use and navigate. I haven't used the wifi yet, but I've had no problems with the Ethernet. It had the proper profile for my RAM from first boot and it worked without any hitches. I have no complaints and would gladly recommend this motherboard to anyone else interested in a high end build for gaming and video editing.

Best bord I've bought in a long time.
This motherboard is a beast! Very sturdy and built extremely well! After installing the cpu I did a cmos reset and it booted right up with no need to do a bios update on my 9900x. Board has tons of usb and nvme space and the wifi works flawlessly. This board also has decent rgb but I can't get a deep enough purple for my liking so red it is!
