Read for a list of all the SYNTHETIC vitamins in this product.
To be honest, after researching this product, I thought I was buying a vitamin that was both organic and highly health conscious as well as supposedly great tasting (based on the reviews). Well, as far as the taste itself - it tastes extremely medicinal. It doesn't taste like a gummy you would elect to eat. It's not terrible, don't get me wrong, it's tolerable... but it's definitely not great. I'm not one to leave disparaging product reviews, but I have to leave an honest review considering how pricey these vitamins are.HeroNutritional Slice of Life markets these vitamins as containing no artificial additives. This statement is obviously not regulated by the FDA, and this statement may be partially true. In fact, manufacturers can claim their products are natural or "free of artificial additives" if at least 10% of their product comes from natural food sources. The remaining 90% though, is a mystery. WELL, if you were to actually look at the nutritional information - these vitamins are highly synthetic. Synthetic vitamins, as opposed to raw, all natural vitamins, are typically used to increase a vitamin's potency. Worse, though, is that many synthetics are made from derivatives of coal tar - a known carcinogen found in cigarette smoke. How counterintuitive that this is in something we're taking to be healthier! Looking more closely at the label of Slice of Life, many of the common synthetic vitamins we should avoid are there - the common synthetic for Vitamin A (palmitate), synthetic Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), synthetic Vitamin B12 (cobalamin), synthetic Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxin hydrochloride), synthetic Choline (as choline bitartrate), synthetic Vitamin D3 (as Cholecalciferol), synthetic Vitamin E (Vitamin E (as d-alpha-tocopheryl acetate). Most of the vitamins are synthetic in Slice of Life. These are just some of them. Feel free to continue your research and note that when looking at product labels, keywords that indicate a supplement are synthetic often include words that end in "ice" or "ate," which indicates that the product contains synthetic salt forms. For the price, if you're truly aiming to find a whole-food vitamin that is REALLY all natural, organic and free of artificial additives, consider doing some research about Garden of Life or MegaFood multivitamins. It was totally my fault to not have done the research about the synthetic ingredients in this product before purchasing. I sort of just read the product description and skimmed the reviews and thought it was truly an all-natural (not), great-tasting (nope) whole vitamin. I learned my lesson! Hopefully this will be helpful for other consumers too.

Quality, Value, Tastey, Great for Allergic people
Quality / Value : 30 days of vitamins, ~$12.50 total, free of the major allergens (even salt & artifical perservstives/color free), small bottle (~5"), good RDA levels of vitaminsTaste: Good fruit taste, and taste like they actually put what they claim in there (vitamin/slight mineral taste)Why did I choose this: It has Zinc, the better vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopheryl), safe with my peanut allergy, mom's milk/soy/egg allergy, better than a majority of other gummies out there I came across, and with the added benefit of no artificial dyesOverall impression: After 30 days I will say I might be feeling a placebo benefit of energy, there lacks a massive study to back up the use of supplementing vitamins in the combination of eating healthy, I will continue to buy this product for there are no negatives and hopes it will strengthen my immune system (zinc) and help some sort of process. Very satisfied.

great alternative to pills
I hate swallowing pills, so these are a good compromise where I fell like I'm still getting at least some of the benefits of a mulit without the pain of taking pills.About what some 1-star customers have said, re: the bottles melting - I recommend either ordering these with Prime or paying for faster shipping, and make sure that if you order them in the summer someone will be home to receive them so they don't sit out in the sun after they're delivered. They will melt if left exposed to high temperatures, so be conscience of how (and when) you order and treat them.

Great for people who can't swallow pills!
These vitamins are great! My friend HATES taking vitamins and even more than that, hates swallowing pills. Now that we're "of the age", I decided that he needed to take vitamins to supplement his diet. Being the finicky eater that he is, I knew I had to find a product that was exceptional. Enter Hero Nutritionals! Not only are they gummy vitamins for adults, but from what my friend tells me, they taste GREAT!!! He tells me it's just like eating candy! He loves them so much that he's told all of his friends about them and lets me know long before he's out of them that I need to order more. Who knew making a fussy person take vitamins could be so easy!

Have been taking these for years and while I like them, I'm bothered by the fact they don't have the quantity stated on the bottle. Every month, I'm left with a single remaining gummy. If you take two each day, that shouldn't happen. So this month, I opened a new bottle and counted them. 58 instead of 60.

It's Vitamins
As described. They do taste like candy, so be careful your husband doesn't eat them all in one sitting. He will be alright, but you will need to get more!

Tastes like candy
I've been looking for a gelatin-free chew-able multivitamin and found these. It started when I tasted the children's multivitamin that this brand makes (I have to hide them from my nephew). They tasted so good, I checked if Hero Nutritionals made an adult multivitamin and voila! Here you have it. Sister says theyre a bit sour but I like em. Much better than Alive multivitamins... those things taste like coins.

Used for a little bit but...
Then I quit taking them because I didn't see any difference in my energy levels and I didn't think that I was really getting any benefit from them. I decided it wasn't worth the money if I wasn't seeing anything from them. The flavor was good though, I can't complain about that!
