Recommended Rollator
This well-constructed and nicely finished device is a good buy, strongly made but not too heavy, steers easily and is more stable than a triwalker if the user is unsteady. The bag is useful and the seat acts a cover in the event of rain. It folds for storage or transport by car but the width is fixed and it remains quite bulky due to the back rest - so check if this might be a problem. To my surprise I found the wheels run on ball races (well the one I took off did !) which is not a cheap option for a very competitively priced item. One snag is that when pushed over poor surfaces there is quite a lot of vibration at the handles (no suspension/hard tyres) - but what more can you expect at the price.

Great only for flat level use
I bought this for the seat really and thinking 4 wheels must be sturdier than the 3 wheeler I have. It's spent most of the time in the shed. Very big, hard to manoeuvre and I was constantly getting jammed in uneven flags nearly going head first. I'm 49 a recently ex body builder so still have quite good upper strength but I struggle to use this. No chance an elderly person could, safely. Seat is very comfortable and storage bag large but thin cheap material. Not recommended for hours long use, more for nipping the shop or around a supermarket.

Just what I need, not necessarily wanted!
Sadly I've had to resort to one of these or I wouldn't be able to go anywhere! I am very pleased with it but was a little taken aback at the quite large size. It seems well made and the seat is so useful and very comfortable. It was simple to assemble....done by a neighbour who was visiting at the time of delivery. The swivel wheels on the front are a real bonus as it makes for easy steering. The bag underneath doesn't hold very much but it is easy to put other bags on the seat and secure them with a bungee cord. I feel much safer when I go out but also very conspicuous and slightly embarrassed. All in all, a good purchase....thoroughly recommended.Additional review 19.1.13: I'm afraid I've only used this once and whilst I still agree with what I've written above it is much too big and heavy. Unless you have a car with a large boot it not only takes up too much room but won't even fit into some. Although I had researched before buying I have made a mistake and will try to sell it and buy a three-wheeled one which will be much easier to manoeuvre and fit into a small car. It's a shame because I really like the four-wheeled one. I would miss the seat on a smaller one.Update: 5th June 2013: This has now really come into it's own and I can't imagine going out without it. I no longer feel conspicuous and embarrassed using it.....in fact it seems that every other disabled person is using one. Despite its size I am still glad I bought this particular model.

Useful aid
This item was puchased for my husband who has difficulty walking. As with any product there are pluses and minuses. It is indeed very lightweight and I find that I can easily fit it (folded up of course) behind the front passenger seat of our small Peugot 107. In addition it is light enough for me to lift into the car. (I have RA so no strength )The seat is comfortable and the backrest useful.On the minus side, the brakes do need adjusting frequently.As the rollator is intended for both indoor and outdoor use, we find that the wheels, or rather the tyres, are very hard and jarring on less than smooth surfaces - which is virtually all outdoor surfaces. Pedestrian precincts are particularly a problem as are cobbled streets !On the whole we are well satisfied and are coping well with the many sloping surfaces in our part of the world.

Rollator walking aid
This was bought for my mum and both she and I are delighted with it. It offers great support to balance and confidence when used on flat surfaces, for example at the local shopping centre but is less comfortable on uneven surfaces. (To be fair that is exactly what the instruction manual says). Height adjustable so my little mum has no problem with handling or sitting. Leightweight for the car too. Great price, compares very favourably with other sites

I cannot use this any more as it is so noisy and vibrates constantly!
While initially loving the freedom to roam, that this rollator gave, the novelty wore off quickly! The noise meant that people turned as I approached, or stared. The vibrations through the handles began to drive me mad! Then, on a concrete path, I hit the edge of a slightly raised crack and the wheel turned sideways and back so abruptly that I nearly fell. I talked to other rollator users that I met and theirs did not make that noise or send such vibrations. It is light and strong but I am now trying to find a smoother and quieter model. Shame! Bear in mind that rollators do not manage curbs and I would like our local councillors to try one out fir a couple of ours!

Fantastic Product
This is a fantastic product. I got it for my Mum, who needed something to help support her when walking. She doesn't go anywhere without it. It is made from a sturdy material and has a seat which is invaluable as she can sit down wherever she wants. It also has a bag, which I think is a better idea that some other products which have a basket. Nobody can see what you have in the bag compared to a basket. This price is brilliant, I saw this exact product in a shop for at least double this price. Please don't hesitate to buy this.

Having checked out the reviews on Amazon can also FULLY ENDORSE
Firstly this product is easy to use by my mother of 77 - she took to it like a duck to water. There were no problems of it "running away" with her and it has given her a real boost in confidence after a fall 6 weeks ago which necessitated the purchase.The only minus points are that you have to take off the seat back bar to get into even an average car boot (eg. 2005 Ford Mondeo 4 door) However you may not have a problem on hatchbacks. It does collapse easily though.Ordered in Blue which looks great. She was very slow but with this has speeded up no end - according to what she wants to of course safely.Cost about £50 less than we could get similar one locally - Amazon wins again.
