Love watching these

CLASS ACTWatching this again just brought me back. I love Kid n’ Play from their music and of course to their films. It had been forever since I had seen this flick and when my brother came over and said “just throw something in” I went with this. Of course we both loved it and now might go through all of the “House Party” flicks and yes that includes four and five.Duncan [Kid] is a perfect student with a perfect GPA and is on his way to the best college possible, well he has to pass P.E. in his final year of high school first. Michael [Play] is a cool 4 school” kind of student who can only avoid jail time if he can pass his final year in high school. Together they would be the perfect student but they get the next best thing for the other, they switch places in school after bumping into each other and switching paper work. Now they must help each other out after the mix up, one has a rep to keep and the other needs to not go to jail, let the fun commence.This is such a fun movie and super funny, add on a great soundtrack and you get a sure fire classic form the early 90’s. I forgot how much I loved this movie and is probably my second favorite film from the five these two have done. Of course the first is indeed the first “House Party” film but this one is just as fun. Kid n’ Play did an excellent job both here as did the rest of the cast. I do really wish we would have gotten a commentary from them two or director Randall Miller who also made two more films I love, “Houseguest” and “The 6th Man”. Still over all this is a great movie that I do highly recommend.

A decent and enjoyable film if you can get past the annoying theme song in the beginning, where a woman screams "Class Act!" over music. Thank God it only happens 2-3 more times throughout the film. It's a funny film. And features the late Thomas Ford and Bruhman from the tv show Martin.

L-O-V-E this movie. I grew up watching it in the 90’s. It became our cult classic. We were forever quoting it. Don’t expect this movie to be an award winning classic-but do expect a no brainer comedy. If I would have watched it as an adult I probably would have thought it was dumb…but as a 90’s teenager-I thought it was hilarious! I have probably watched it at least 25 times!

They definitely don’t make movies like this anymore!!! I miss the 90’s... these were real movies that would make you laugh!!! It was a great distraction in 2021 especially in the world we are living in were you can’t REALLY laugh at anything anymore and lord knows we all need to laugh! I am too happy to have found this on DVD!!!

This movie is a CLASSIC that will have you laughing out loud from start to finish. I had the movie on video, and had been waiting for what seemed like a decade or more for this underrated movie to be put on DVD. When they finally put this movie on DVD I was elated. It's tough to choose between this movie and House party as Kid N Play's best movie, because both movies are certified classics and both hilarious.I would be splitting hairs if I chose the better movie between house party 1 and Class act to be honest. If you enjoyed House party and the brand of comedy, and romance themes that that movie had then you will absolutely love this movie. I don't have any idea how anyone with a sense of humor could not like this movie, so I would ignore any negative reviews. Class act is as official and classic as it gets!

I love this movie!!! This is an older movie that I watched several times as a child. It had a great message for the youth without being too preachy and hilarious at the same time. Both Christopher Reid and Christopher Martin showcased that not only could they rap, but that they could act as well. Icing on the cake is that I can watch this movie wherever I want, anytime that I want FOREVER😍
