Best for the price.
I needed a computer able to run old useful programs I had for my personal use and work. Find a new one without Windows 10 (or 11) was almost a "mission impossible".This refurbished laptop with WindowsXP at such a low price for these days, was the magical solution. His only draw-back? The weight. But making it a complementary tool to my main computer, solves it all!Good HD capacity and excellent speed for my old programs. I'm happy with this purchase.

Used Equipment, so beware...
This was my second purchase of this model, the first one a couple years ago had a flaky power-connector but is still in use, the second was received two months ago, w/30-day return window - initially worked fine, and then the wired ethernet went flaky - shows connect and internet-access but refuses to communicate with anything - wireless ethernet still works. Alas, I need wired internet for the purpose of this unit, so I ordered yet another - third time is the charm, right?

Very nice laptop
I needed a laptop with OS XP as my picture and calendar programs are used here and not for anything newer such as Windows 7 or 10. I made an error putting in the number for Internet and printer connection so was not sure if it had WiFi. I told the seller that I didn't mind that I had to use a printer cable but then discovered my error and now it works just fine for both Internet connection and wireless printer. I am going to try and let them know that it was my fault because they offered to give me another laptop but I refused, since I only use this for hobbies. Excellent laptop and very nice and professional seller.

Came as excepted for a refurbished laptop.
The only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars is because the laptop came in without the disk. They did ship the disk out to me right away. All in all it was a good experience.

screen is defective
The laptop screen does not, in fact, work. But since I am using it solely for gaming and have it hooked to a bigger monitor this is not worth sending back for me. The GRAFX work - just not the native screen.

This is what buying refurbished should be.
Everything as advertised, neatly packaged and shipped on time and in sturdy container. Product had very minimal dings and scrapes, top notch used product. No issues with any aspect of the computer itself, not even a stick button. Not loaded with anything but bare essentials (like vlc lol, nice touch). Absolutely exactly what I wanted from a refurbished laptop. If you need a good battery, plan on buying a new one, though, the qualifier they add, something like "Batteries are guaranteed to work but lifespan is not specified," is there for a reason.

The battery was crappy. I have to keep it charged to use it. I want to be able to charge it and use it portable

Dell reinstall disk does not contain many drivers
I ordered because it came with Dell reinstall XP disk. My own actions caused a system failure, but the disk included only reinstalled Windows XP, missing many drivers. Vender responded I should find them myself. Good luck to anyone else. Was also send a failing power adaptor. Dell requires a matching one with a smart plug, so may be difficult to find. However, the battery did hold a charge and the product was in working condition.
