Great rod!
I did a lot of research before I purchased this rod and many experienced fishermen recommended this rod. I purchased 2 from amazon (1 for me and 1 for my dad). Mine was damaged in shipping, but amazon quickly took care of it. I ended up fishing with my dads on our trip and absolutely loved this rod! We went lake trout fishing in Nevada and the rod/reel combo cast very far! I caught my limit within 2 hours. I highly recommend this rod/reel combo!

7 feet 2 piece spinning rod combo, lightweight
So I'm new to lake and river fishing and I wanted something versatile and easily packable. The two-piece rod fits well together and the reel slides into place. Great casting ability and I can definitely feel all the little nibbles going on under the water.The only issue I have is with the reel. Unfortunately, the screw to hold the handle together keeps loosening while I use it. It's not a major deal-breaker, just something to be aware about. On a normal 3-4 hour trip, I need to continuously tighten it five times.All in all, it's a great combo and everyone who has used it likes it. Would buy again.

Good little Rod and Reel
Good little rod and real set up. I use for regular trout fishing in state stock lake for rainbows. Works well enough and has survived being handled by my kids.
