Definition VS Volume (my review)
Great brush, glides smoothly through hair without snagging. I always section & brush style my hair while soaking wet and products already added. I do strive for more volume, hence I chose this style. My hair loves to naturally clump together in larger curl clumps, even if I pull them apart they eventually find their way back together. With that being said I wish I tried the original define brush 1st. With the volume brush having less spacing it breaks my clumps up too much so when they find their way back together I can see the individual curls sometimes wrapping around each other in different directions. Any wonky curls usually equal more frizz. I have read other’s comments in curl groups I follow and the majority prefer the define brush over the volume. I think it just comes down to each individuals hair type and what you prefer. I would also recommend buying the real deal and not the cheap knockoffs. If you want to invest in your waves/curls, don’t skimp on the materials & quality.

10/10, recommend for volume & definition
Thank God for showing me this brush! First off I love the weight it has and it really brought out my curls. It helps keep my hair soft and the brush itself is very durable. I was worried that with my hair type it was going to be hard to style my hair because the denman brush would often get stuck and I would break the bristles. It works incredibly well and I saw a difference right away. The design of the pointed handle really comes in handy because now I don’t have to use 3 different brushes to do my hair. I don’t use it to detangle my hair but I’m sure if you did it would work and not tear your hair out. For reference my hair type is 2C/3A.

It works
Really does work on my 'mixed ' hair.I have that frizzy combination hair that can be really curly or really frizzy. Some strands are not coiled or more wavy straight and some are coiled. I can't Brush my hair dry or it will expand sideways and instantlytanglr, needs to be wet to brush it, yet it's still not really cur, maybe frizzy waves that always look like i never brush it.....i keep it really long (with layers) because the weight helps keep it down.So that being said. With just some some lotion while wet, i can use this brush as directed and my hair looks really put together and defined, even truely curly, which i prefer because at least it's choosing something. With product like gel or something it can really be defined and super curly. So for me and my 'type' of hair, this is a godsend. I just wish the handle was more substantial because it's pointy and small, slippery even. Sometimes it's hard to beush through my hair and the brush slips or is difficult to grip. I try to remember to put my hair up for bed, but if i don't, then I'm fumbling around with the brush for a while, so i use a better grip brush first, then end with this one for definition.

Good complement to the Define Edgelift Brush if your curly/wavy hair has problem straight areas
I ordered this brush because I had previously bought the Bounce Curl Define Edgelift Brush, which I really like except that it leaves the back of my hair kind of flat because my super fine, curly/wavy hair is straighter in the back than around my face. I was wondering if the Volume Brush would help with curl definition and volume at the back of my head. I was not disappointed. It works well for that. I'm considering using both brushes to style my hair: using the Define Edgelift for the front and the Volume for the back. These brushes are pricey, but really well-designed and worth the money if you have curly/wavy hair that tends toward stringiness or bushiness.

Don’t drop it!
I absolutely love the Bounce Curl Volume Brush! It delivers amazing results, making it a staple in my curly hair routine. One of the best features is the pointed tip on the handle, which makes sectioning so quick and precise — it’s honestly the second-best part of the brush after its grooved edges.Unfortunately, I had slippery product on my hands and accidentally dropped it. The pointed tip broke and splintered, which was disappointing since it was such a useful detail. I wish the tip were more durable or had a reinforced design, especially since it's a tool we often use with wet or product-coated hands.Despite that, I still highly recommend this brush. Just be extra careful when handling it!

Get the brush
This brush is FANTASTIC. I have long 3A/3B hair. The combs on the side so all the defining for your so you don't have un even clumped curls and I don't have to spend my time picking them apart. I do think because of that its drying more even as well. the boar bristles also smooth out my curls (frizzy girl). The brush is sturdy and I like the multi function of it. My only concern is how to clean it because I am concerned about product build up. All in all will definitely buy it again and am actually going to be purchasing it as a gift for someone.

Bounce Curl Volume Brush
This brush is designed specifically to give your roots a major lift, really define your curls, and just pump up the volume without making things frizzy. When I use it, my curls just pop, looking way more defined and uniform, which is something I always struggled with before. And that annoying frizz? It actually helps keep it down, which is a huge win in my book. There's a little bit of a learning curve to figure out the best way to use it for your hair type – I definitely watched a few tutorials to get the hang of it. And yeah, it's probably a bit pricier than your average brush. But honestly, for the kind of volume and definition I get, it feels totally worth it. I've had this product for a good few months and it holds up extremely well too.
