Works as intended, great quality
Used to replace the stock Toyota stereo in my 2001 Toyota Highlander Limited w/ JBL sound system, replaced it with a Pioneer AVH-4300DVD. Installed 3 weeks ago an no issues so far.Cable feels well constructed. Mini jack and usb plugged easily into the back of the pioneer, ran the other end through the center console to connect an ipod.I was originally looking at a cheaper pioneer stereo that required the cd-iu50v, but the 50v is only like 2 feet long, there is another cable, that is labelled as a cd-iu50v, manufactuered by some company other than pioneer that is longer and less expwnsive. When I decided to upgrade to a stereo that required the cd-iu200v there was only this option. Very pleased with my decision.I wish I would have measured the 200v before I installed, as measurements can be hard to come by online, but it's at least 3 feet long, maybe 4. Plenty of length to run it to a glove box, under some carpet, or just secure the excess behind the stereo when installing.I have not used the video-fro-ipod functionality of this cable so I can not comment on that. I can say that it connects securely to my ipod, easily, is also easy to disconnect, no wiggling or stressing required. I also have no concerns that it might vibrate loose from the stereo, connections are solid.

Works Perfect
I'm waiting to install this until I get an iPhone, but I wanted to go ahead and leave a review of my initial thoughts about this product. There are a lot of bad reviews out there, that I feel are misguided. This seems to be a genuine Pioneer product. It arrived in legitimate Pioneer packaging and appears to be the same exact product listed on the Pioneer website. Yes the two cables are different lengths, the USB is much shorter than the Aux cable. This is because when you purchase your head unit, Pioneer supplies a USB extension cable with the unit. This is designed to work in conjunction with that product. The idea is it lets you unplug this cable, wherever you stash it at, and still use your USB drive for a flash drive or whatever, and then hook your iPod back up. The aux connector is a three ring connector. Here's to hoping it works as good as it appears, it sure beats paying $45 or $50 from other places.Update: I've been using this cable for about two months now. The way I have it installed, I can't make use of the USB as described above, but either way that's why it is the way it is. It works perfectly and I've utilized almost every function of my iPhone through this cable, from MotionX GPS to iPod videos to Netflix. Don't understand the bad reviews, maybe I got lucky...

Great Product
Overview: I have been using this product in my Chevy Silverado for well over 6 months now and have never had any issue, it stays in my truck 24/7 we no signs of deterioration from the heat.Build Quality: USB cable on this device is shorter then the 3.5mm cable that plugs in to the back of the head unit this is a great feature considering the head unit I purchased Pioneer AVH -P4300 DVD comes with an extension cable for the USB. The USB cable itself is a smaller gauge of wire then I would have like to see but it definitely gets the job done, the 3.5mm is very thick on the other had.Performance: As I said i have not had any issues with this cable in my truck yet. I dont see having any in the near future either. This is a purpose cable it is meant for Pioneer head units and it does its job extremely well.Verdict: I would defintely recommend this cable to anyone that needs it, although the price tag may be a bit more for the Pioneer cable, the quality is worth every penny.

Does Exactly As It Should
Received this product about 5 days ago. I'm using this product with Pioneer AVHP4100DVD 7-Inch In-Dash Double-DIN DVD Multimedia AV Receiver with Widescreen Display. This cable also sends video through it--not just audio. Connects easily. The USB side of the cable is much shorter than the 1/8" cable. Pioneer assumes you will use this with one of their USB capable stereos, which normally comes with a USB cable already. This just plugs into the end of the female side of the cable. The stereos have a normal USB input. This cable has a normal USB like you would use for any computer. The USB cables that come with the stereos are normal USB extension cables that are sheilded pretty well. So, if you loose it, you can easily buy a replacement at any computer store.

It only works on AVH-P4300DVD, AVH-P4200DVD, and AVH-P4100DVD
Plugs into the USB terminal, and audio/video connection through the mini-jack A/V input. Cable is 2m in length. Also, ensure the AV1 input is set to "iPod" prior to playback.and Yes... this assumes that you will plug the A/V jack in the rear of the unit... and the USB on the front - only giving you 2ft of length from the unit to your ipod.It only works on AVH-P4300DVD, AVH-P4200DVD, and AVH-P4100DVD

**Update** connector problems
**update**After using this cable for a few months, all of a sudden the cable wont dock with my phone without holding it at an angle. I'm not sure what happened but I have to pull upward on the connector to connect electronically with the phone. It's the phone itself because my wife's phone has the same result, plus my other chargers work fine. In order to replace it, I now have to pull my dash apart again and pull out my radio.Bought this to pair with the AVH-P4300DVD. Received the correct item, and it works great to push video to the device. Only negative I can think of (and this is probably due to the head unit) is that the Ipod doesn't charge unless it is selected as the source i.e, pandora, ipod music/video, or app mode. definately worth it.

Works well and crosses from JVC# though does not say so.
Works beautiful with my JVC car stereo for my iPad and iPod. Stereo is a new 10 series. Sorry I don't remember the rest of the JVC # it is listed as OE of other brands it does cross from JVC's cable number in my JVC owner book and it need it have a 90degree end to the stereo like this. I tried straight and it hits something in back of the dash this cable made me happy. I love that it locks into the iPod also. The cable is plenty long. Works in Crew Cab Nissan with plenty cable to hide LOVE IT.

Works great. Might not fit with some cases.
I hooked this up during my radio installation (Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD 7" In-Dash Double-DIN DVD AV Receiver with iPod/iPhone Control, Pandora) and it works flawlessly. I can use the MotionX GPS app from my iPhone right on the screen of my Pioneer; like having an in-dash GPS but only spending $0.99 for the app (plus this cable - but you'll use it for other stuff too).Beware, however, that for some weather/water-resistant iPhone cases, the data port/charging opening at the bottom may be too tight for the plug from this cable to seat correctly.
