The gimlet did the small job I bought it for adequately, however it does not look very sturdy and I think the black oxidising coating will wear off sooner rather than later. I also think a rounded handle might have been easier for me to get the twist action needed to start the screw holes

Nice little set. Quite small but handy for the tool box. The bradawl is chisel edged / flat rather than pointy so I might regrind to a point. Good value for what it is and delivery was fine.
