All in all, the product would be fair to average IF the seller allowed it the 6-8 weeks necessary time to cure OR boiled it and sold it as a "fully cooked" sausage. The product ships "ready to eat": unless you are willing to eat raw pork cured with paprika, boil it or chop it up and add it to your favorite ethnic dish. My advice: don't eat it as it ships if you value your health. Better still - just say no and buy the Gyulai sausage and get it shipped free with Amazon Prime. Trichonisis can get you really sick. The spice used is the typical fresh Polish sausage spice cut with Hungarian paprika and cayenne pepper. That would have been fine had the seller either cured this sausage as a salami or cured it and smoked it twice like a hunters sausage. The price is not especially high for this product, but you really get what you pay for. Maybe less. In texture and presentation, it was reminiscent of dollar store chorizo. Will not buy again.

Even though it was delivered a little bit late must give it five stars.Our family came out from Central Europe so I do recognize differences between csabai kolbasz,dunai kolbasz or ordinary hungarian sausage.This one aint announced as either csabai or dunai,just ordinary magyar kolbasz and taste great as it is.Before consumption strongly recommend to boil it for a couple of minutes(to get it stiffed up) and served it with jewish garlic bread,mustard,fresh grated horseradish and sliced tomatoes.Addictive breakfast.

I was hoping to get something like the Hungarian Csabai kolbasz, was disappointed with the seasoning. Lacks garlic and salt. Otherwise it is a good sausage.
