MAPLE CREME 261 G

I love anything maple cream and when I saw these, I had to try 'em. I guess the cost is due to the fact that they're not available in the US so I had to buy from Canada with a premium. They were almost worth it although in comparison to a package of regular Oreos which have a lot more cookies in them, these went too quickly.

Best Oreo cookies I have ever eaten. Amazing absolutely love them. Wish they sold them in the US at the grocery store.

I love Oreo cookies and was super excited to try this new Oreo flavour! It's super Canadian because it uses maple syrup from Quebec. The Texture: Same crispy and chewy texture you would find in the original Oreo with a soft icing centre. Mr. Christie really loaded up on the filling because it's THICK! A great eat-the-middle-first cookie! A note on the filling: it contains two different artificial food colours (sunset yellow and brilliant blue). If you're not a fan of food colouring, stay clear of this cookie because the filling looks artificially yellow. The Flavour: This is NOT your traditional maple-shaped cookie and these Oreos taste nothing like the Maple Leaf Cookies from Peek Freans. The cookie itself tastes like a golden Oreo. When I first bit into the Oreo cookie, I had to think twice about whether there was even maple in it. There's no in-your-face maple flavour. The maple flavour is very, very subtle, especially when it's balanced out with a buttercream flavour. The filling is like eating a stick of butter that's covered in maple syrup. It sounds gross...but at the same time, this is what imagine when eat this Oreo. Overall, if you like Oreos and maple syrup and buttercream, you will likely like this cookie, but don't expect a strong maple syrup flavour punch; it really is the perfect balance between maple and creme and both flavours shine through!

Mot as maypley flavored as I hoped

These arrived the day after ordering, in good condition. They tasted pretty good, good enough that I consumed most of the pack shortly after opening. That being said, while I am a huge oreo lover, these maple cream cookies weren't the best ones that I've had. Though it does still have good maple flavour. It's not strong but it's not weak either. It could be a little stronger in flavour. I do think the amount of cream is just a liiiittle to much based on the amount of present flavour. I haven't loved every flavour oreo has come out with, and I haven't tried all of them either (most of them aren't available in my city), but I like these enough that I would definitely eat them again. Actually I might just order a couple more packs lol
