DellMK991 Series 9 926 V305 Color Ink Cartridge (Cyan Magenta Yellow) in Retail Packaging

I was really surprised when I printed my first 25 pages, color ink finished and after 10 more pages also de black ink.

I tried using color in my computer and I'm glad I did. I still copy texts in black print, but I was surprised to see how nice the addition of color is.

This ink from Beta Ink has always worked in my Dell V305w printer. The packages were marked MK991. But when I received these they didn't work in my printer. It told me to put a color cartridge in. Well, the package said MK 993. I am sure Beta Ink knows what they are doing, but they don't work...They issued a full refund and felt it was a manufacturer error so they didn't even want them back. Good service. Wanting to take my chances one more time, I reordered and although they were marked MK993, IT WORKED! yay! The first batch must have been a dell error. happy dance!

Print quality is good, but not great for inkjet printing since it's a single cartridge for one color when compared to multicolor inkjet printers like Brother that cost much more to operate over time. However, these standard cartridges last much longer than other OEM cartridges I use in comparable inkjet printers. I use only OEM inkjet refills. If you're not a heavy user of printout, then this is a very good option to save money on TOC.

Just installed the cartridge, so can't tell how it will compare with the number of copies it will make with my last cartridge. Do know that it is not registering on the printer or on the computer that a new one has been installed, but that has happened before with one purchased directly from Dell and they told me to just ignore the message. I did make a color copy just to see if it worked. The color was not quite as bright as the old one, but is adequate. When it needs replacing, I will know if it deserves a higher rating, and if so will purchase my next one from the same place.

This is a standard Dell ink cartridge that I have been replacing way too often. I don't use the printer all that much and discovered that the cartridges DRY OUT and show as empty when they are barely used. Since this is a cartridge made by Dell and not a knock-off I would think they would figure out how to keep their ink wet until completely gone. The printing industry has been doing it for years so it's definitly a product flaw. I have finally remedied this problem by removing the cartridges each time after I print and put them in a sealable plastic bag. This seems to work so far.

I put it in my printer and I printed stuff. The stuff came out of my printer. The stuff was on paper. There were marks on the paper. The marks were in color and I am convinced that the color was made by this Dell Series 9 DX506 Color Standard Ink Cartridge. As such I am satisfied with m purchase since what I wanted the Dell Series 9 DX506 Color Standard Ink Cartridge to do was put colored marks of m choosing on paper of my choosing.

Had good color but did not last very long. Why is printer ink so expensive?
