I needed four bulbs for my new bathroom fixture. Other brands developed dark spots after a week of use. These are great. They give good light and work perfectly with the dimmer switch.

GE does a great job with bulbs. Consistent lighting and color. Last forever.

great bulbs and they are dimmable

These are nice lightbulbs. About what you would expect from GE. I have them in two different watts and I prefer the 40 watt for ambient lighting. The 60w I use when I need higher light in the room and don't want to use the overhead lighting. I have lamps that have two bulbs and two different chains for each bulb - I use the 40W for ambient and the 60W for higher lighting. I don't know why they are called 'relax' other than I suppose the soft white creates a nice glow and not a glaring one--and it is pleasant. It's more my beautiful lamps that create the relaxing look along with glow of the bulbs. They are supposed to be energy efficient and last a long time so I hope that's so. I've only had them a few months so far. I paid a little more for these compared to off-brand cheaper ones but I wanted to be sure I was getting good bulbs that will last from a reputable brand. If they do last a long time as indicated, I'd reorder.

I really like the GE Relax light bulbs because they have a soft, natural light, like the old incandescent bulbs. This new box with a skirt around the base is more like other LED bulbs; however, the light quality seems to be the same as the older ones, which were incredibly variable in their reliability. I always tested them for a period of time before placing them in a hard to reach light fixture. Life span was also highly variable. I'll find out if these are any better.

I went on the hunt for warm bulbs after being fed up with being blasted with super bright white bulbs. The intensity of the plain bulbs was so sterile and jarring. I came across these. After much research, they were my final choice. I am very pleased. They now provide a warm, soft, gentle lighting that’s pleasant and calming. They weren’t too expensive, were easy to install myself, and I am unable to yet comment on lifespan as I just got them. I overall do recommend.

Excellent light with less power demand , lasting extremely longer being LED

Not sure why it's called relaxing. Gives head ache to me. Cheap IKEA bulbs are better than this
