About the Author Julie Fletcher lives in Edinburgh where she creates children's books and cards from a small, colourful studio. Originally from the west coast of Scotland, she studied illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. Julie graduated in 1999 and got her first job as an in-house designer for a greetings card company based near London before going freelance, initially working from her bedroom! In her spare time she likes to enjoy the outdoors, visit galleries and work on personal art projects.
