Good product for the price
Great remote control for the price. I have been using it for about 3 months now and everything still works as it should

Works!!!
Would have gotten 5 stars but the actual body/housing is just BIG. I had a very hard time fitting underneath the shroud at the fan base. That's the only reason I'm knocking it down a little. Had zero problems with it functioning right out of the box.One thing to note. If you have a wall switch that stays on and it gets shut off, EVERYTHING in this remote setup defaults to OFF. Fan speed and lights. Took us a second to figure out what was going on the first time.

Works perfectly. Never glitches.
I installed this in our ceiling fan 3 years ago and it has worked perfectly ever since. It has always reacted instantly to a button press. The feel of the buttons is good. The labels are legible. It uses 2 AAA batteries, so when I eventually need to replace them (still good at 3 years), I won't have try to read the shiny embossed markings on a button battery. My ceiling fan is a Westinghouse Lighting 7234100 Comet Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light. It's low profile, has a nice dimmable light, and moves air very quietly even on high, and effectively even on low.

Space to install
Kit came with all the necessary parts. Module need to be installed right on the top of the fan mount. It was a tight fix. It would have made mounting easy if the module was little thinner and shorter.

For a fan that doesn't currently have a remote, or only 1 wireless remote controlled fan in home.
This was a bit difficult to rate. I have 2 identical wireless remote controlled fans (on different levels) that run on the same frequency, which can not be changed. So I can not use one remote without it affecting both fans. I purchased this receiver and remote in hopes of fixing that issue. Unfortunately, this universal remote and receiver also run on that same frequency. Which also can not be changed. If you have a singular wireless remote controlled fan and need to replace a failed receiver or remote, this is for you. Or if your fans equipped with dip switches to change frequencies like a garage door opener with wireless entry pad would have for example, then this set up would also work for you. But if your like me and have multiple fans running off the same frequencies with no way to change the frequencies, this isn't for you and will not solve your problem.
