To that I can add a couple of short comments, like, these sockets all have the size laser-etched into the side in large numbers to make it easy to get the right one.The sockets are absolutely beautiful. It's a shame to put them onto a tool and set them on the concrete garage floor to get all scratched up. Oh, well.I priced a number of individual sets in 3/8\" and 1/2\" drive sizes, metric and inch units, and standard and deep styles. Buying this whole set saved me some money over the cost of buying individual sets.Individual sets would have had smaller, lighter cases instead of this big, heavy one. With the big, heavy case, however, I have all the sockets with me all the time.I agree with the review by Jeremy Brossia from 29 November 2010 where he said that the 18mm socket is missing. Short or Long. If a hole is blank, I know one is missing. Granted the case is a bit big. But everything is there and has its place. May not be feasible at the daily workbench, but if you need to move around - home, then work, job site, then they are all there. Use with hand ratchet or impact. Unless I need a thin wall socket for clearance, I usually don't bother to grab my Snap-on's anymore. Have had these for about 2 years I think it is now. Case has held up well so far. Course, you don't want to throw it around, or the hinges may fail. So, the case is decent. Sockets are staying locked in their pockets just fine. Since it's made from blown/molded plastic, I cannot fix this issue myself. So I ordered a replacement. Guess what, it had the exact same issue. I sent that one back, and called Amazon. They said that they would notify the warehouse, and that I should check the status of the item in 7 days. If it's still listed, then the others are good, and I can re-order.Currently, I'm using some twine to hold the case together. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. For the money that was spent on the set, you would think that they would at least take the time to assemble the case. Clearly poor quality control at the assembly plant. Actually, any true pro will tell you that you will never need half of the sockets in this set. I'm your typical \"pro-weekender-car-guy\" and I learned my lesson a long time ago: it sucks to be shoulder-deep into a project only to find you are dead-in-the-water because you lack one simple socket, wrench, or whatever tool. So I buy into the C.Y.A. method and get the largest set I can afford to make sure that if I get stuck on a project, it's not due to a lack of the proper tools.More on-point for the set, the finish is excellent, all the sockets fit snugly in the blow-molded plastic case. One of the two clasps that keeps the case closed falls off when it is unlocked, but it holds it securely shut when locked, so it's not an issue for me. The sockets are very easy to read with the gold laser etching. I've only used the sockets a handful of times, but have had no issues and they fit well on whatever bolts and nuts I've used them on.The only possible concern I have is that I have grown up a Craftsman Tool guy and have enjoyed being able to take any broken tool down to my local Sears and get a brand new replacement, no questions asked. Before purchasing this set, which also comes with a lifetime guarantee, I called the closest IR dealer downtown to inquire about replacements should I ever need one, but no one answered so I left a message. No one called me back. Amazon worked with me though and send me a second set over night for free. They told me to call them to arrange to return the set that should arrive tomorrow. They were very nice and fairly easy to work with.The set is really nice, good looking, and well marked. The plastic case seems very nice and everything is laid out in order and the different sockets are easy to find. I highly recommend this set and I'm glad that I bought this BIG set instead of trying to piece it all together. Better price this way too.
