I used one of these for many years as a staff nurse, although I have been retired for five years when my oximeter finally gave up,I replaced it right away as I missed it. It allows me to keep a check on my family's health.It was a good price and does the job.To view the reading upside down you have to press the button again,where my previous one changed it round automatically but other than that it's just fine. It comes with a lanyard which is good.If I had to be a bit picky my only problem is that because it's black, when I put it down I can't always see it due to most of my furniture being black too.But health care professionals would probably have the lanyard attached to their uniforms anyway, because I lost a few at work when I left mine on patients lockers and instead of returning it, they took it home.

I use this multiple times a night for my daughter. It’s the only one that has been as accurate as the ones they use on her in hospital. Battery last a long time. Easy to read. Have brought it twice now. The first one broke after 3 years.

Useful piece of home equipment if you need to keep an eye on oxygen saturation. It may be small but clear digital read out and clip easily onto the fingertip.

My daughter recently fell ill with covid and a borrowed oxygen metre indicated low oxygen levels which resulted in her being hospitalised before they ran critically ill. As I am asthmatic, I decided that it would be useful to have should I fall ill with covid.The meter was delivered swiftly, despite the snowy weather, but it did not come supplied with batteries. I must have missed this vital piece of information, but my husband was able to buy some.The information leaflet came in multiple languages, which is fine, except the writing was so miniscule that I needed a magnifying glass to read it! The instructions were clear, but did not explain what the readings meant, or what was a normal range.Therefore, the oxygen metre is as described, but the instruction leaflet was lacking.
