Fantastic product!!!!
Works great, a staple product I keep stocked !! Scotchgaurd products are amazing stain barriers. I use on practically everything and anything with high traffic or heavy use, anything used by children & animals, anything fabric that's expensive, sentimental, or white LOL This version has SPF & waterproofing feature, & gives additional barriers against outdoor elements for any outdoor fabrics or textiles PROS: Its SPF immensely slows the rate of sun fading, changing Lengthens fabric life, by protecting against degradation Water sits atop fabric, greatly evaporating b4 absorbing Barrier from scotchgaurd lasts a long time Makes any spill/accident an easy, non-staining cleanup It works on anything subjected to sun &/or water or rain (like cushions, pillows, sun umbrella, fabric awning, patio curtains, outdoor rugs, towels, fabric lawn chairs, camp tents, window drapes, car upholstry, flooding, hiking clothes, backpacks, coats/jackets, Bathing suits, shower curtains, fabric water rafts, fabric and carpeting on boat etc ... ) Just be sure to always use scotchgaurd outside. CONS: Way overpriced (prob bc it works better than all others)** Aerosol is really dangerous to breathe in Takes quite a bit of time to properly dry and set in You must almost saturate in order to be enough Chemical smell bad, toxic; always spray/apply it outside Even though expensive for small amount, it's a product that's definitely vital to preserving a households things. The double pack is great too

works great
having two cans is perfect for most jobs, enough that you can really cover a 5'x7' area both sides and have some left to do a cushion or two. application was easy though i recommend a filter mask as it really atomizes into the air around you and is nasty dangerous to inhale. the slim bottle was easier to use then a larger one. finished product dried fine, slight darker (which was nice due to sun damage)pliable with a slick feel to it and seems very water resistant. i used this on my glider swing cover and cushion which is 4 yrs old since my last treatment. though sunbleached on side that faces the sun it made the rest look brand new and hopefully last another couple of yrs of constant sun and lots of rain. I do store it during winter.

A year later after a boating season...
Last year I used 2 cans of this protector on my boat canvas. Which the boat sat outside in the elements for 5 months. Yesterday as I was preparing my boat canvas for this season. I decided to power wash both sides on my deck. I couldn't believe it. After I power washed one side and scrubbed it with a scrubbing broom. Then power washed the suds off. I turned over the canvas to clean the other side and to my surprise the deck was nearly bone dried. How the forced water did not pierce the material, is beyond me? Granted, the canvas was new last year, but still wasn't expecting a dry deck under the (power-washed) canvas. I would give it 5 stars but it wasn't that easy to spray. There were large blotch spots of the spray that was sloppy... But I will say, it was effective!

Bought to waterproof the awning on our vintage camper.
We bought a new awning for our vintage camper and even though we were warned that it was not waterproof we tried it in the rain anyway. It was not a good experience. It sagged, everything got wet and it was not fun. We dried the awning out and sprayed two coats of this and tested it out by dumping a bucket of water on it. It worked great. Only time will tell if it was good in the long run. It did darken the pattern on the heavy cloth. Happy so far but time will tell if it was a good value for the money.

Drips Like Crazy
Both cans of spray dripped like crazy while spraying. I am presuming it will work. but it is messy

I Put two coats on my sofa and when I tested it, the water easily penetrated.. Very disappointing. Also toxic to spray on. Be careful if you buy it

Works perfectly for the Australian weather

It Darkens fabric and leaves a slippery residue that gets onto your skin and clothes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I found Atsko Silicone Water Guard to be much better.
