This is a great set. The colors on the tiles are bright making it easier to distinguish the different colors. The racks are durable and easy to put together. The carrying case is an added bonus making this set very portable and making putting the game away a quick, easy task.

Really fun game, play it with my adult friends quite alot. The case makes storage and traveling with it all the difference. We have found the a small bag to keep tiles in while playing gives us a cleaner surface to play in.

I have the original set from 1978. These tiles are not polished and don’t have the weighty feel that was so satisfying to play with. The tiles are 1/8” shorter in height. There was a white powdery residue on the tiles so I wiped all of them down front and back with a damp cloth. They feel perfect now.Now don’t get me wrong...it’s a fine set and the case is sturdy. We will give one or two at Christmas.Throw away the flimsy inside cardboard box and toss the tiles in all jumbled up.RULES: I have never heard that you are supposed to stack unused tiles in piles of 7. This was the best inexpensive set on the market

the boards are lightweight which makes it harder to play, but the tiles and the case are solid.

Very nice travel set but only good for 2-4 players. If f playing with 6 players you will run out of tiles to pick.

Love the racks and a snap to put together. They are long and stand very high. Perfect for my poor eyesight. The tiles are also very well-made. Look like the old Bakelite material. The numerals stand out and it’s not a guess if it’s a six or a nine as the marking is very distinct. The aluminum case is the best I’ve seen-very sturdy and the carrying handle is strong. This will go everywhere with me and it took just a minute to put everything back in its place. This is definitely a purchase I made that was perfect.

This game is simple and fun and can be played by many people, many ages. This is my second set so that we could include a greater number of players. The metal box leaves everything well organized and the tiles are easy to read. The rules are pretty simple like a mixture of canasta and gin rummy.
