Best Reptile Tank Ever (This is our 2nd!)
We have kept snakes for many years. When we began it was fish tanks and mesh tops - not optimal if you do not want escapees. We then moved to various Zilla habitats, but the glass of the tank bottoms is thin and unable to withstand temperature changes if using an undertank heater and any cooler water touches the glass. Twice we had this issue, but it was the best solution at the time.In both cases, the floor glass would crack, leak, and leave a dangerous edge under our substrate. We kept searching for a better answer to our needs. We finally found Carolina Custom Cages and are so happy we did! This is a sturdy tank that lasts! Recently, one of our snakes needed an upgrade in tank size and we immediately got this one.The base section is waterproof and the base glass is both thick and coated with a thermal wrap to protect it. We have never had another glass bottom crack. The top is well anchored and the mesh is sturdy and solid. It arrived quickly and was well packed and easy to construct. They even contacted me to insure I had all of the information I would need to assemble the product and their contact information if I ran into any shipping troubles since the box is rather large for the size tank we ordered. These people truly make a superior product and have amazing customer service. I thank them for understanding the needs of their customers.

Beautiful. Pics included.
Extremely happy with this. Easy assembly, very quality. A little pricey compared to the popular brands but that’s okay.I would give this 4 stars but I am somewhat nitpicking here so I’m not going too. But I think the substrate area needs to be about 2 inches deeper. I picked the tall one thinking it would be. So I’m not sure it’s going to be enough to keep my tank bioactive but we will see. Either way very happy with this and it looks beautiful. Will probably buy more in the future as I build my reptile room. Check out the pictures. The setup is unfinished but I will be adding more plants and substrate.

Great Quality & Easy Installation
Could not be more happier with this terrarium. Very easy to install and it’s easily way better quality than the exoterra products. I was very impressed about the packaging because the styrofoam was all broken up; it went through a rough shipment but was still able to make it in one piece because of the packaging. My terrarium for my corn snake is still in progress in terms of decor, but it is looking like this will be his forever home. Thanks, Carolina Custom Cages!

As described
Second times the charm. I needed to send the first one back as it arrived shattered. Second one was nice and in good shape.

My dragon is so happy!!
I’m so happy with my purchase, my dragon has room to move around with a bathing area. It was easy to set up, one suggestion would to add side or back to the glass like the doors. Also I wish the doors had a tab to open the doors but again a suggestion. I’m super happy with my purchase, I’ve been looking for awhile and kept coming back this tank. All came without damage.

This is by far the prettiest and sturdiest cage I own, out of the many many reptiles I keep. The screen top is very sturdy which is important to me because I have a cat that likes to lay on top of my cages. No sagging screen. Assembly was cake.

I really want to like this brand.
I like the enclosures. Or i want to like the enclosures. Assembly is straight forward. Seems sturdy once together. I would not recommend for larger, stronger animals such as constrictors or monitors but for inverts and smaller animals these fit the bill and look great. Now my issue developed this morning. Purchased the first enclosure about a month ago. Built a custom background with drip wall to house Geosesarma crabs. Tanks has been setup for about 2 weeks and this morning it developed a leak which blew my surge protector. The leak isn't massive but it LEAKS. The base is suppose to be waterproof but this one has a leak. I purchased a second a week ago for another build. I have already built in it. and will be checking for leaks. I know its good practice to leak test your enclosures but honestly out of the couple of dozen enclosures i have built using Aqueon, Marineland and even ZooMed, This is the first enclosure I had leak on me. I would like to purchase more of these, but if leaking is a normal occurrence then i will spend my money elsewhere.
