Solid.
I wanted it to look substantial on this occasion. I wanted it to be a high performer in terms of signal capture and transmission as location on edge of good reception. It has not disappointed me.

Wifi adapter
Works perfectly, my router is in another room, and the signal my computer is receiving is excellent all bars lit.

good
I am extremely impressed with this WIFI adapter.. I have it plugged into a PC almost 30 meters away from the router and going through 3 walls. It picked it up just as fast as wired connection..

Boosts the wifi signal
This Wifi Adatper AC1750mbps Wifi Dongle is an extension to the usual WIFI dongle in that it also boosts the signal for those who have a PC or laptop that they use in a place where WIFI isn't that strong. The device is an odd shape, a black cylindrical 'tub', which I assume helps with the signal boosting. It has a USB lead on one end that's about it. Simply connect it up and away you go. While a CD is also included, it's recommended to try the device out first if you have Windows 10 as it should auto install and use the Windows Network settings to connect. The newest version of the software is then easier to download than using the disc, with the details on the included instruction sheet. This gives you a little more flexibility and information over the networks available. In use, the Wifi Adaptor worked well in picking up a signal after being attached and downloading the drivers, even in areas of the house that were usually bad for wifi, such as the kitchen. It's a little bulkier than other USB dongles, but it also seems to pick up the signal better.

Works fine - slightly clunky install
The Anewish USB wifi comes simply packaged - and is in itself quite attractive. It is a small black cylinder - half of a tin of baked beans in size and hardly weighs anything. It has a light strip running around the middle - which glows a pleasant blue when powered up.I plugged in the USB chord and sort of expected something to happen. Nope.So - I resorted (to be fair, as per the instructions) to install the driver software. This is relatively straightforward, but seems amazingly slow. The "manual" is definitely not written by someone whose first language is English. There are quite a few typos and grammatical mistakes. This should not matter but given the apparent length of the install I found myself wondering exactly what was being installed.Once complete I was able to connect to either a 2.4ghz or a 5ghz network with relative ease.Using the REALTEK Wireless LAN Utility to connect seems quite clunky (but effective). Having double clicked to join a network I then had to enter the network key twice - not sure why. Anyway it connected okay. Double clicking on the wifi symbol in the tool bar gives a more up to date experience. Once done choose a network (in this case the 5ghz one rather than the 2.4ghz). Performance seems okay - Youtube for example seemed a little slower to start, but never stuttered or paused once playing.I am using the wifi dongle quite close to the router itself - so it's not easy to judge what performance might be like at more of a distance.Rebooting reconnects to the previously connected wifi network (assuming it's still available) - though this takes a moment or two.In comparison with a PCIE based wifi card which I installed yesterday - this actually seems a little more clunky on the software side - whilst obviously being easier to install physically. If you're looking for a USB based wifi solution - this will do the trick. Due to it's size (not massive, but not tiny either) I'd prefer it for a desktop setup than for a use in a portable setting - i.e. laptop. Setup seems a little clunky - but works.
