Works awesome on my 1976 Pioneer sx-636
I bought this at Walmart. It was on clearance for $6, so I bought it just because it was so cheap, not expecting it to perform. I hooked it through my Pioneer sx-636 receiver and it works awesome. I got a small wall charger box, plugged it into the back of the receiver, hooked a 3.5 to rca patch cable to aux input and voila, bluetooth on a 1976 receiver.

No Bass
Sounds horrible, no bass. Connects without problem and seems to keep that decent, but has the range of an old AM radio.
