I bought this cover because arthritis in my left hand meant I couldn't hold and tap the Kindle comfortably with that hand. I chose this cover because of the hand strap and because it was priced very reasonably. It came quickly. I find I am very pleased with it. The outer cover is a pebbled leather. I did not observe problems with it like the ones noted by another reviewer. In size and feel it reminds me of a small Filofax organizer before being filled up. When reading it reminds me of reading a mass market paperback book, my favorite format. The included stand is very useful for reading near a supporting surface; the hand strap allows free use of the left thumb, with enough reach to make the page forward tap. I use the strap to read in bed, something I could not easily do with my iPad. I had a little trouble figuring out how to set it up. If you want to use either the stand or the strap, swing the front cover to the back, unsnap the small tab on the cover to expose the male part of a snap, and snap it into the female part on the back. The little tab, as well as the cover snap tab, do not snap anywhere when reading, but the eye is not drawn to them. It remains to be seen how long the cover holds up.

I should have skipped all the other cases and went straight for this one! I am in love with it! It's nice solid black, sturdy leathery material, and looks so nice. The "kickstand" on it is magnetic so when you aren't using it, it stays in place and it's at the perfect angle for me to read at my desk. The buttons are nice to hold things together while you are using the kindle. Goes to sleep and wakes up when you open or close the case. I haven't used the hand strap yet but I'm sure I will love it.

This is just great. Love the hand strap and the pop-out stand. Hold is very secure and protection is excellent. Magnetic switch works fine.The PU leather is maybe not as nice as the Amazon cover but at less than half the price it's just great. If you want to hold it open like a book it's a bit floppy, and the Amazon cover would be better for that, but I don't find myself wanting to hold it that way.The shipping estimate was 4-6 weeks, but mine was delivered to California in just under one week.

I would give it 5 stars but one of the snaps broke off the first time I tried it. Pretty good quality overall. The snap that's now broken is necessary to use if wanting to use the stand feature or the hand hold feature properly. I may try to glue it back on but don't know if it will hold since it would be used often. I may end up applying a velcro type tab which will take away from the prettiness of this item. I love the color and that it will keep my Kindle safe if dropped which was my main reason for purchasing.

I purchased this lovely case thanks to a fellow booktuber (youtube book reviewing community!) and I was not disappointed!I don't own a Kindle and took a chance with this for my Kobo. I have a Kobo Glo and this fits pretty well. The sleep function doesn't work as I'm sure they use different materials, but nonetheless I love the functions this cover provides. The hand-sleeve fits comfortably and the 'kick stand' is the best function! I can sit at the table and eat dinner or lunch at work and read hands free. :DIf you have a Kobo this is a great buy. There is space still at the top to reach the power/sleep button and you can be strategic about the light function too.

I am a bit disappointed with the case. It stated it was made of leather but looks and feels like cheap vinyl on the outside. There is leather on the inside but that is not what the description indicated. The snap for the closure is fine but I don't care for the other snap that holds the flap open. I am using the case however, because the return instructions were rediculous. I have to contact the company first to get further instructions. Just give me a return address and be done with it.The only thing I was happy about was the shipping time frame. I got it two weeks before I was actually told I would get it.Sorry, but I would not buy from this company again.

I love this case. Just had a sleeve for my Kindle Touch and decided to get this case for my new Paperwhite mainly for the stand. That works well, and it's also nice to have the little strap to slide your hand in if you want to hold it that way. The purple color is as shown. I also like the sleep/wake function of closing/opening the case. I don't like having to then swipe to open the Kindle once it's awake, but that's a Kindle issue (the only thing better on the Kindle Touch.) The case is also holding up well. Definitely seems to be worth the money.

Paid almost 27.00 for a product that is complete junk! Did not know that it was made in China until I noticed the mailing label and delivered to the US from the UK. For starters, this ereader case is made backwards! When you unsnap the case and open it to read, your reader should be on the right just like opening a book, but it's on the left instead. Someone didn't even design it right. Quality is extremely poor, the snap closure is not going to even hold up for a months use. The vinyl edges on some areas is warped. I am not happy with this product. A lot of money for a product that isn't even worth 5.00. This is a seller that I will never buy from again, they are making money while ripping off customers with junk. It also reaps of a strong chemical odor. Another product where you cannot trust the 5 star reviews, shame on amazon for allowing fake reviews still. Also, a product that is only good for the trash can and 27.00 loss from your wallet. I would never suggest buying this product!

Excellent case for my older Kindle. Fits like a glove and comfortable to hold.

Schon immer habe ich die Vorzüge einer eBook-Hülle geschätzt,die sowohl Standfuß als auch Handschlaufe bietet. Da meine alte PU-Hülle,die mehrere Jahre strapaziert worden war,bald auseinanderfiel, dasNachfolgemodell der Firma aber inzwischen einen absolut inakzeptablen Preis hat,suchte ich woanders nach Ersatz. Mit der igadgiz-Hülle bin ich nun fündig geworden und bislang sehr zufrieden.Sorgfältig gearbeitet,saubere Nähte,angenehmes Handling,absolut aufrechte und kippsichere Standfunktion,die mit einem Druckknopf in Position gehalten wird.Sleepfunktion beim schließen der Hülle.Trägt natürlich dicker auf als die original Kindle-Hülle,aber in akzeptablem Rahmen,und Standfuß und Schlaufe brauchen eben Platz.Über die Knickstellen des Umschlages,die ja nun mal die stärkste Beanspruchung erleiden beim umschlagen der Hülle,kann ich noch keine Aussage treffen,dazu ist die Hülle noch zu kurz in Gebrauch.Ich könnte mir vorstellen,daß hier nach einiger Zeit das PU-Leder leidet.Aber es ist eben PU-Leder,nicht zu verwechseln mit richtigem Leder! Das sollte einem vorher klar sein, so steht es auch in der Beschreibung, und so erklärt sich auch der akzeptable Preis.Ich bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden!
