Natalie Stein, a successful lawyer, emigrated with her parents from Germany to the USA at a very young age. The last things that stand between her and a happy life with her daughter and son, are the divorce settlement with her lowlife husband Tim and a nasty drinking habit. But a lot more is about to happen that she didn't bargain for when her dog goes missing and her mortally wounded husband appears on the doorstep, informing her that the children have been kidnapped. By the time the police arrives at her house, Tim's body has mysteriously vanished. When not much later one million dollars, a bag of cocaine and some gangsters enter the game, Natalie finds herself in less than no time tied to a chair in her own kitchen. Let the torture begin..Uncut Import, Special Edition in English..

No idea what the plot was at the end
I was watching on a TV, and by the end the sound mixing was so bad I couldn't hear anything from the final confrontation and explanation, only the background music. I even paused the film to make sure I wasn't playing stock music in another tab, but nope.

Mixed bag
First and foremost this is a splatter / gore movie. So how does it rate in that respect? Well, pretty good. There's enough torture and blood to satisfy, but be warned, rather than the usual cartoonish blood sprays and finger chopping etc, this splatter movie's set pieces tend to be a little bit darker. The plot is an excuse for 3 torture scenes interspersed with other scenes of more familiar gore. There's eye gouging, dismemberment, head shots, brutal stabbings and more. However, it isn't a relentless gore fest, even though it is quite bloody, and the plot it is wrapped around is merely functional at best. The acting is also below par.But then, this is at heart a splatter / gore / film so what more do you expect? It's not as gruesome as films such as "Grotesque" or "August Underground" nor as spattery as the likes of "Taeter City" or "Tokyo Gore Police", but serves as a half decent mix of both.Overall, poor acting aside, it's shot and edited well and has enough to warrant a purchase for most gore fans. Providing you can be bothered to sit through the first 20 minutes worth of boring build up and can pick up for around £5 like I did.

Crazy B movie
If you like a gore movies you will like this. It follows the typical traits. Bad acting & poor dialogue. However the gore effects make up for it. Story line pretty predictable from the start but still turned out a decent movie.

And to make things worse the DVD has the most awful compression ever
Contains brutal violence but also the most wooden performance by the lead actress. She has exactly the same tone of voice no matter if she is narrating or her life is threatened. And to make things worse the DVD has the most awful compression ever. For the most part this looks like a bad resolution .gif image.
