This is an American book therefore all the yarn thicknesses are not comprehensible to the British knitter. You have to check it out elsewhere as there is not a conversion guide in the book. Some of the patterns are useful.

Patterns are easy to follow, and best of all, include written instructions as well as charts. I'm dyslexic, and struggle with charts - in fact they are nearly impossible for me. Having the written instructions make these patterns SO easy to follow! I am so grateful for knitting authors who include written instructions.

I own 2 other books by this designer. Jen Lucas patterns are creative and well written. She includes charts as well as written instructions. As a knitter I would recommend this book for your collection.
