Good stuff
I've used these since the 1950's when my parents took me to Colorado to go Trout fishing. They are still the best I've ever found and I've tired a lot of different ones. During my last fishing trip I caught 3 Trout and 3 Catfish using them.

Ok but not great
I used these for stocked rainbows and browns and the fishing was tough for everyone today. These failed to catch when red worms worked. I was expecting to really catch the trout but corn and red worms still worked better. Hoping that in a different location and a different day these will catch some big trout.

I thought these were liquid on the inside :(
I got these to puncture and toss into my horrible neighbors ac vent in their car during a heat wave. Jokes on me I guess.

I really like these for my purpose of tying up in spawn ...
I really like these for my purpose of tying up in spawn bags! They are really durable and last a lot longer than uncured or other cured eggs. They have the same round shape as an egg should have (unlike some cured eggs). I can tie them up in smaller bags because of their durability and not having to worry that they will pop and go flat after just a couple casts!I primarily use them when I don't have eggs from a previous fish caught sitting around in my freezer. And now after using them I might just continue to use these more often than eggs that I've cured from previous fish caught! They work really well and still have the egg juice in the middle. So if you are fishing in a spawn bag and feel they're not milking enough, just puncture one of the eggs in the sack with a hook or needle or something and keep casting away and you'll have your milking result!!I would highly recommend these eggs!

my go to eggs
Pautzke balls of fire are the best, I have been using them for years, they are definitely my go to bait, especially when I am stream fishing or even lake fishing from the shore. I'll be fishing and when I catch a trout, people will ask what I am using, I don't say eggs, I say pautske's. My brother and I were going on a camping fishing excursion and he needed to pick up some supplies from the bait shop, I told him to grab some Pautske's balls o'fire. I told him to make sure they weren't some other kind or brand, he has a problem with listening and came home with some giant pinkish garlic flavored eggs, well I went and got my Pautzke's and when we went fishing, I was catching and he was not, not even a nibble for him. I caught a couple more fish to teach him a lesson before I relented and shared. Don't waste your money on any other kind.

Best trout bait
Liked the way the bait stayed on hook. I used them for rainbow trout at Alto Lake, NM. Three of us were fishing and caught our limit of 5 trout every day in less than an hour. Great stuff.

Attractive (got a few rainbows), but too tender...
Watch your rod or float... fish likes these bids, but will trick you easy!
