Good Quality Chew Toy!
These are healthy and last a long time. They are the only bone type chew toy that made my vetsmile and approve! Dogs who have loved them over the years are our German Shepherd, our Pit Bull/Labrador and our cockapoo..who had fragmented other bones.

Reimidi’s Favorite—But Be Mindful of Wear Over Time!
This Benebone Puppy 2-Pack has been a staple in my household—I've purchased it six times now for my maltipoo, Reimidi, and it's hands-down her favorite chew toy. She lights up every time I hand her a fresh one! The real bacon flavor must be irresistible because she chews on it daily and it still lasts about 3 months before I need to replace it.The shape and texture are perfect for puppies or small dogs under 15 lbs. It's sturdy enough to keep them occupied, yet soft enough for modest chewers like Reimidi. I love that it's made in the USA and doesn't splinter or break off into sharp plastic-like pieces like some other brands. However, here’s the one downside to be aware of: As the bone gets worn down, it can develop pointy grooves, especially on the edges. Unfortunately, Reimidi did cut her mouth once from a worn-down piece. Since then, I keep a close eye on the chew and toss it as soon as I notice those sharp edges forming. Safety first!Overall, it's a fantastic product that keeps my pup happy and engaged, but make sure to supervise your dog’s use and replace it once it shows signs of heavy wear. A must-have with a little caution!

Our dogs favorite chewies
We have two 1.5 year old pups and they LOVE these things. No matter how many shoes, stuffies, or other toys are available for them to chew on, they always come back to these. At all times, we have half a dozen of these laying about the house in various states of consumption. It's entertaining to watch the dogs trade off and swap which version they are chewing on. I believe these have help reduce the amount of stuff they dogs have chewed on that they should not chew on. They would just rather chomp on these things. I love that these don't leave residue on the carpet, they don't break big chunks off that the dog can yak on, and they don't stink, even when they have been munched on for awhile. Just watch out for when they get small enough that your doggo might try to swallow it. Benebone has a return program where they say they will recycle them into new chewies. We haven't used that service and prefer to just toss them in the trash when they are too small. The only negative is that they can get a bit sharp on the sides and from time to time the dog will sit next to you and dig the sharp edge into your leg or foot while they are working the other side of the toy. They are also quite surprising to step on in the middle of the night.

A little too soft for my dog
Someone recommended the puppy wishbone because the regular ones seemed to be too hard for my dog. But, he went through this so fast! He loved it. Unfortunately, it just made me worry that he was getting a buildup of plastic in his stomach from chewing on it so much! I know a little over a period of time is “safe,” but he went through all three “arm” nubs in just a few days. The wishbone design made it easy for him to grip, and the puppy level made it softer than the other kinds we had tried, which ended up being a mixed bag! For the money, it wasn’t worth it for us because he destroyed it so quickly. But it might be good for less aggressive chewers! I won’t purchase this again for this dog.
