I thought it was good
I baked it in the oven and I was very happy with it. It does have a taste that is somewhere in between "made with a mix" and "prepared on a shelf", but that's pretty much what I was expecting. The tray is the selling point for me. It is not reusable but I didn't wanna do dishes anyway.

It’s alright
The price is good for the product. I have to add some extra ingredients to the dough otherwise it’s pretty bland. Splash of vanilla, sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg or ginger, some toffee bits, few drops of caramel flavoring with a pinch of salt, it’s highly customizable but I suggest doing SOMEthing to it or you might be slightly disappointed.

Medium grade, not great and not garbage
The media could not be loaded. For starters the directions are way way off. You need way more than 2tbsp water and 2tbsp oil to create a usable mixable batter. I used about 4tbsp water and 2.5 tbsp pil to get a workable batter. Next up, 1 minute and 15 seconds was not enough time. I microwaved maybe 3 minutes and 30 seconds than let it sit for a bit. It's faster than oven brownies sure, but still a lot of work especially when you're chronically ill. Don't get me wrong, I mixed for 5 minutes with the box instructions of 2 tbsp water and 2 tbsp oil, but most of it was still powder. It also says to microwave in 15 second intervals (which is a joke.) Agter the 3.5 minutes microwaving, I let it cool for several minutes. The smell is quite unpleasant and does not smell like chocolate. It almost smells like the outside garbage day smell mixed with beets. It's a strange smell but obviously taste is the main factor. After cooling for 5 minutes, it's mostly solid. Taste wise? It's OK. Like I'll definitely never get this again lol. It's like one step above those brownies you find in the kid's lean cuisine tv dinners, but just barely one step above. After letting it cool even longer so I no longer have the blow on the bites, the taste improves a tiny bit, but not very much. I'd put it at 1.5 steps above kid's lean cuisine brownie.Price wise, it's a great deal. I'd pass on it tho if you're disabled/chronically ill coz it still does require a lot of effort despite being able to be made in the microwave. Ill still probly try this brand's brownie version of this, just to see what it's like, but overall, it's not completely garbage, but not really great either. Side note, my camera shows thing way brighter than they actually are. This cookie is in fact a deep dark brown, but my camera messes the color up.For those who need the total if you eat the whole thing (cooked); [strictly health data only, this is not pro ana. Artificial unintelligent
#repost“I know what you're thinking because I was once like you. Browsing Amazon for snacks, looking to satisfy a cookie craving. You see a big cookie for $2.50. It's one of your favorite flavors (oatmeal, chocolate chip). You see Duncan Hines, a trustworthy brand. Their boxed cakes were always delicious, their icing is better than a certain other big brand. It's a big affordable cookie I can quickly make myself, from a brand I trust. What could go wrong? Everything. There was nothing good about this cookie. At ALL.texture was not that of a cookie, more like a weird brownie. I was still optimistic. Once it cooled, I forked off a small bite. It was moist, cakey, and tasted artificial. There was no taste of chocolate whatsoever despite having seen chocolate chips on the fork that entered my mouth. The artifical sweetener (?) taste was overpowering, just as it is in the Duncan Hines mug cakes. I did not finish my cookie. Other people in the house took sections of it, no one liked it. Most of it was broken up and tossed outside for some poor unwitting birds to feast on.I think less of Duncan Hines for selling this. I'm afraid to buy their cake mixes now. Even for a low price like $2.50, this is a waste of money. Spend more, buy something else.”I mean, yeah.. this other one put it perfectly. I’m definitely staying away from this type of stuff. It’s not only easier to make your own, but better. Idk why people are putting 50+ ingredients in fast foods and acting like it’s going to be even decent.
