An incredible Unit that makes you sounds amazing
Bought this for playing in front of small groups with my Amp, and for practicing at home alone without an amp- its easy to use, sounds awesome and in the 2 plus years that I have had it, it has never given me a single problem. Only downside to this unit is that it doesn't have an on off switch and cant be powered by batteries. The Guitar effects and vocal effects: Guitar Reverb, Echo, and Chorus, and Vocal Reverb and Echo, plus several Vocal Harmony settings (many options to choose from including a super 3 part harmony), work incredibly well with Multiple settings for each feature. I also bought the Perform Vk for my keyboards, and the Perform Ve for vocal effects, neither of them works as seamlessly and perfectly as this unit. If you want to perform in front of a small crowd with just a guitar, microphone, and amplifier- this is the unit to get. For the quality of the product you are getting- this is well worth the cost and nothing out there compares to it. I would highly reccomend the Perform VG to anyone.

awesome processor
This processor is awesome. If you play guitar to accompany your singing, this process will provide you good enough level of effects conveniently. For vocal, it provides harmony, reverb, echo and pitch correction (along with automatic compressor and gate). As well as able to switch on 48v phantom power if you have a condenser microphone. For the instrument (guitar), it provides "BodyRez" which helps to reduce the "quack" sound, chorus, reverb, and echo. And when you long press the "mix" button, not only it'll pause all the effects and the guitar output so you can talk to your audience with the microphone, it'll also activate a standard tuner for your guitar. In summary, this is a nice-to-have device for those solo singers who play guitar along.

It's like salt.....
great when used a little, too much can ruin the mix. Have used the Harmony G-XT extensively for years in group and solo situations. It is great to add a little thickening to backup vocals, or some depth to lead lines. Too much in any situation can sound just plain phony and cheesy. This unit does essentially the same thing as the G-XT, just with a stand mount instead of floor. For my use , the floor unit is a better fit once it is programmed for needed scenes. I've played around with the Body-Rez feature on this one, and am not particularly impressed. The controls overall can be a little tricky to use on the fly, but are easy enough to figure out. Overall I would recommend this unit, but suggest anyone interested in this also check out the G-XT as well.

It will fit on mic stand but have to force it the first time
Hard to get on mic stand first time. Fits 5/8" tube.First impressions are good. I wish the power cord was a bit longer.

Awesome piece of equipment!
Great addition for my solo performances! I ended up purchasing a foot pedal as switching by hand while playing guitar wasn’t working out. I’m very happy with this Helicon and highly recommend it!

Good but easy to break
Good sound, good effects, easy to work but if you planning to use it on a mic stand the plastic that attach to mic stand are very hard and break very easy, mine broke at second time, should be made with a rubber or soft plastic.

Great sounding harmonies
I use the Perform VG with my keyboard instead of the VK. Works perfectly. The harmony follows what I play on the keyboard. It allows me to connect the keyboard and microphone to separate channels on the PA.
