Nostalgia
Brings back memories from my childhood when I had one of these. Just like I remember them and my 9 year old son loves it. There are so many to choose from.

My daughter has a lot of fun with this. A little bit of a distraction, but that's sort of the point. Great price during Christmastime-- I think I paid like $14.

My 7 year old has already killed his alien about 3 times but he has made it to 9 years old this time. Classic toy from my childhood!

Just like the old days
My daughter has been super curious about this toy, when I told her I used to have one she begged me for it. I don't really remember how we took care of it back then but hers definitely makes noise when it needs something. It a neat nostalgic toy.

Also thought it was weird that you had to discipline the pet. My son didn’t like doing that
