Perfect Beginner Scope
This telescope is a good intro telescope for both children and adults. I got this telescope because I wanted to ease myself into the astronomy world without making a huge investment. The first thing you notice is the carrying bag. Its a nice thin grey colored carrying bag that can easily fit somewhere vertically like a closet of horizontal. The inside of the bag has several Velcro straps that keeps the tripod, scope, and the miscellaneous lenses and equipment in place. The set up was very simple and took some time the first time since I didn't want to mess anything up, but afterwards took a few minutes.I first tested the telescope inside my room and it only took me about 5 minutes to be able to focus on the moon with accurate focus. I was amazed at how well I could see the craters. The viewing angle was also decent with the tripod put at the max height. I didn't take picture because the window screen got in the way and it's been a bit cloudy and rainy these past few days but the few nights I was able to get some sights was amazing. Also there is a photo holder that can attach to the lense to make sure the perfect pictures are captured. The telescope functions well but you have to be patient and make adjustments carefully. Once you do get the perfect adjustment, the sight seen is truly incredible. I am amazed by how well the hawkko telescope works and can't wait to use it in the warmer weather. It will definitely be something I bring along with me when I go stargazing.

Perfect Entry-Level Telescope for Exploring the Night Sky
As a beginner to astronomy, I wanted a telescope that was both budget-friendly and capable of delivering a rewarding stargazing experience. After using this one for a while, I can confidently say it strikes a great balance between affordability and performance. The assembly was relatively easy, even with the included instructions. Once set up, I was impressed with the clarity of the optics. While it’s not professional-grade, the telescope provides surprisingly sharp views of the moon, where craters and surface details are easily visible, brighter stars and constellations look fantastic, especially when viewed from a dark-sky location. The included accessories, such as the different eyepieces, add flexibility in magnification, which is a nice touch. However, some of the smaller parts do feel a bit flimsy, so they require careful handling. The tripod is fairly stable, but I’ve found that using it on a level surface significantly helps reduce vibrations for a steadier viewing experience.Overall, this telescope is a fantastic entry-level option. While it won’t deliver Hubble-like images, it’s perfect for learning the basics of astronomy and enjoying casual stargazing. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly telescope to kickstart your astronomical journey, this one is definitely worth considering. Just keep in mind that it’s designed for beginners, and with the right expectations, it will provide plenty of memorable nights under the stars. I’m thrilled with my purchase and can’t wait to explore more of the night sky!

Great Budget telescope
I recently purchased this portable telescope, and I have to say, it has been an absolute joy to use. One of the first things that stood out to me was its portability—everything fits neatly inside a convenient carry case, making it easy to take on trips or store away when not in use. Whether I’m setting it up in the backyard or taking it to a darker sky location, the compact design makes transportation a breeze. One of the accessories that made my stargazing experience even more enjoyable was the included 3x Barlow lens. This was a great addition that helped magnify celestial objects, giving me a closer look at planets and deep-space objects. It was exciting to experiment with the different magnification options and see just how much detail I could pull in.Another feature I absolutely loved was the Celestron SkyPortal app. Connecting the telescope to the app made it incredibly easy to locate planets, nebulae, and other celestial objects. Rather than manually scanning the night sky and hoping to stumble upon something interesting, the app guided me straight to some breathtaking sights. This made my observing sessions much more efficient and enjoyable, especially as a beginner in astronomy.Speaking of observations, I was amazed by what this telescope was able to reveal. I was able to see the moons of Jupiter clearly, which was a surreal experience. Additionally, I got a great view of the Orion Nebula, where I could make out some impressive details. For a portable telescope, the clarity and sharpness exceeded my expectations.Beyond stargazing, I also had fun using the telescope for birdwatching. Looking at ducks and different bird species through the telescope was an unexpected but enjoyable bonus. It added an extra layer of versatility to the device, making it useful for both astronomy and nature observation.Overall, this telescope has been a fantastic investment. It’s compact, easy to use, and delivers excellent views of both celestial and terrestrial objects. Whether you’re a beginner looking for a first telescope or someone who wants a portable option for stargazing on the go, this one is definitely worth considering.
