Love almost lost
JB, is it Ok if I call you that? I’ve gotta be honest, I’ve wanted you ever since I first laid eyes on you. When you showed up at my door, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on you! But, after rolling you around in my fingers and using you, I gotta say, after an hour you were still soft. I thought you were supposed to be “Mr. 5 minutes”. But I’ve come to realize it’s not you, it’s me. No really, I didn’t handle things right. If I had read the instructions, I would have realized that the sides and the middle of the putty roll are different. I had just been pinching some from the sides. Once I learned to take a pinch or a slice from across the whole tip and roll that around in my fingers to mix it well, everything worked even better than expected. It’s simple to use and hard in 5 minutes, exactly as described. Just make sure to slice off the amount of putty you need. That way you’ll get equal amounts of gray putty from the middle and black putty from the sides.

Putty's your buddy...
C'mon, is there really anyone in the U.S. of A. NOT privy to the joys of JB Weld? Assuming so, this version of the venerable line of adherents is a putty you twist up and kneed together to activate. Once turned uniformly gray, mash into whatever crevice, crack or divot you need to fill and VOILA! In the amount of time it takes to set, your repair is either complete or ready for the next step which can include shaping, drilling and tapping. Great stuff, JB Weld.

Okay Stuff
A good filler. Not meant for heavy-duty use, but good enough.

Crazy what you can do with this stuff. Excellent for recreating missing pieces
I’ve used a bunch of this stuff. Too many to count. I like to use it told mold pieces that are broken or missing. I’ve used this stuff to repair fuel tanks, replace spikes in early street lights by molding a replaced and used it to recreate spokes on an early coffee grinder. Once this stuff cures, is sanded and printed, it blends right in with cast iron.

Forms very solid connections
Not all binary epoxies are the same. Some of them expand or contract as they harden and that can be a royal pain in the rear. This stuff is solid gold. It is high-quality, hardens like iron, forms a tight seal, is easy to mix, use and apply… 10 out of 10! The bond between the epoxy and the parts that I was connecting exceeds the strength of the actual materials themselves! I think you will be very pleased if you purchase this.

I love love this
This stuff is great; for a year I could not fix my outer oven glass door. This so far reattached it and holding it in place .

Did not hold for us.
We used this to reattach a 3 inch muffler on a truck in the back hanging area since the weld broke. While we felt this would be a temp fix, it did not last. In arizona dry heat , it sat for 2 days to dry and was held up temporarily to secure the mix but once we drove after thinking it was secured, it did not and muffler was bouncing again. Maybe my application was tough much but I'll stick with real weld for this issue I have
