Great for Gen 1 Genesis
Been using this almost everyday for my Sega Genesis. I paired it with my 8bitdo SN30 controller (until I buy Sega controller), and it connects quickly. Been working great and its so nice to not have cords all over the place.

Makes Retro Gaming Future Proof
Works great with anything Bluetooth compatible. I've had a PS4 controller, 8Bitdo's own line of controllers, and some "other" brands and they work great. Even cooler is they have a port for micro usb so you can just plug it into anything making it a Bluetooth dongle in a pinch.

Great for most Genesis wireless controllers
This adapter fits a specific need I had which is using the excellent Genesis controllers made by Nintendo for the Switch. The 3 button and 6 button controllers from Nintendo both work perfectly with this, and of course the M30 does too. Sadly, the official Genesis Bluetooth controllers from Retro-Bit do not work properly. They pair and a few buttons work but other buttons are not properly mapped. If I could I would only knock off 0.5 star for this, but if 8BitDo could update the firmware to accept the Retro-Bit controllers, I'll upgrade this to 5/5!

Retro receiver
It works flawlessly; I tried it on Windows 10 and 11.It is compatible with an 8bitdo wireless joystick.

doesn't work with power base converter
Works perfectly fine with Genesis games on a Genesis. However, doesn't read inputs on Master System games on a Genesis via Power Base Converter.

Works great
Works perfectly with a DualShock 4. Tested on a modular synth with Sega Gamepad inputs (none of my vintage controllers worked) and it worked like a charm. Pairing was easy, works great. One thing I will say is try not to use controllers with analog sticks or the inputs may trip up.
