item received as described and in the timescale promised. I cannot comment upon its efficacy as I have only just taken one dose. I will only be able to assess the next time I have a blood test in order to see if my cholesterol levels have decreased.

I d read a lot of good things about red yeast rice. I don’t know if I have high cholesterol but prevention is better than cure, and I won’t take statins as they cause other health issues

It's early days but something strange seems to be happening. Which is making me feel very elated. I take Ramipril 10mg in the morning and have been issued indapamide 1.5 mg mid day, then Doxizozin 10 mg in the evening. I have been taking my blood pressure, and was surprised that mid day and evening blood pressure normal. Just taken it 121/65. 10.pm. So tonight I will not take my medication. I have never been able to do this. It normally rises during the day. Being as high as 170/84 and even 182/84. I wonder if this is because blood flow is improved. It could be just a fluke. But excited that this may be working for me.

This product was purchased to help my wife lower her cholesterol. We examined the product on line via Amazon and then purchased it on subscription. My wife was acting on medical advice that she needed to lower her cholesterol and was recommended to use Red Yeast Rice. We read the information on Amazon about this NUTRIMEA product, all the benefits were listed but no mention of any groups of people being exempt.Having received the product we have gone to read the small print (eventually) and discovered that it is not advised to be taken for people over the age of 70 years which of course my wife has just become.This to say the least is very very annoying as we bought it in good faith.If you are going to sell products like this on line then in addition to listing its benefits you should have the confidence to also list the groups of people you advise not to take it.This has been a complete and utter waste of time. Fortunately I can take the tablets as I am under 70 years.
