A lifesaver
I love cordless battery operated yard tools. No more cords to drag around the yard or cut through. One down side is my hedge trimmer. I have some very tall hedges that I can only finish by standing on a ladder. At the very peak on them I have to do a long reach to get the last areas. It was doable with a corded trimmer, it was light enough to use one handed and do a long lean. But the battery one is too heavy. So, I bought this long handle one - amazing. On two tall stand alone Arbor Vitae I can do the tops from the ground, just extend pole and adjust the blade to the perpendicular. On the long hedge where I can't get to the far side (I'd have to go into my neighbors fenced yard, he's a nice guy but I feel weird hauling my whole rig over there). Now, I set up my ladder, extend the pole with the blade straight, and can do a nice safe two handed trip without leaning or hurting my back.

Great Features Good Price BUT it's top heavy.
Purchased this to trim a Japanese Red Maple. The reach was perfect and the ability to both tilt and rotate the blade was welcomed! Like other reviews of this tool, it gets heavy after 5-10 mins of use! My shoulders woudln't continue workin after 15 minutes. I rigged up a shoulder strap and added a handle to the shaft which made handinling this at full extension much easier. Both a strap and handle should be included in the kit (other brands do include at least the shoulder strap). Bottom line, yes I'd recommend this trimmer. Good value for the price. You can pay much more but it you're not trimming tall hedges for a living, this tool will work great for the average home owner like me

Heavier than expected but works great and battery lasts a long time.
Heavier than expected but works great and battery lasts a long time. Easy telescoping of the pole. I cut up to 3/8" diam pine but I think that would be the max (less than 3/8 is hardwood). I used a lopper for the highest new growth because it's feather weight light in comparison. I used hand shears on the lower growth. Using all three tools with what each was the best and easiest to use made quick work of four 14' (now 12') white pine trees. Very happy with the performance. Though a bit heavy feeling, nearly every other one I looked at was heavier. Might look into a shoulder strap. Price was terrific.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
After 1 1/2 years of light use this hedge trimmer stopped working.I called WORX support and spoke with them explaining what happened and what my trouble shooting found. After verifying all the information, support is sending me a new hedge trimmer and all I had to do was cover shipping {$10}. I highly recommend TORX products, I own the hedge trimmer, a weed eater/trimmer, 3 20V batteries and the battery charger.IMPORTANT TO KNOW. If you don't register your purchases with TORX on their warranty page within 30 days of purchase, the warranty will NOT be covered.

Worx Hedge Trimmer Review
Once you get comfortable with holding this trimmer, due to the weight, it does a pretty good job. I have small bushes so if you have very large bushes, this may not be the best one to choose. I'm physically fit and when using this for a long period, it will get heavy. Also, it is rather awkward holding it because it's already long without using the extending the length. The instructions were not the best. It just provided pictures. I had to go on YouTube to watch a review and found out that I had to use the L wrench to loosen up the screws to be able to open the 2 yellow tabs.

Nicely balances so easy to use and handles heavy brush like overgrown blackberries very well
My son got one to help clear blackberries that had overgrown the farm. It worked extremely well to chop them down quickly so that we could finish them off from new growth on the ground. Unfortunately, he broke the blade when he hit some hidden metal post, so I ordered a replacement for him. It arrived very quickly as promised, but was defective, motor didn't work at all. It was returned and replaced quickly with no hassle, the new one working as well as the original.

Heavier than expected
I used mine today for the first time. It's a lot easier to make straight cuts and to shape the bush, as opposed to using a traditional trimmer. The battery life is so-so, I wasn't able to finish my work (3 bushes) without having to charge the battery. The cutting edge is sharp and it cut very smoothly. One thing I underestimated is this setup is heavy! Surprisingly heavy. The handle and head rotate, and that helps balancing the tool for easier cuts.I'm giving the tool a 4 out of 5,

Great trimmer for high bushes
This is a great tool for tall bushes and small limbs. I found it easy to use. When needed, extending the tool was easy and quick.. I trimmed bushes over 14 ft tall. Bushes growing over my privacy fence from my neighbors yard. The battery life was great. Over 45 minutes of use. Build quality is very good. Buy this tool, no regrets.
