Outstanding!
Great product! I cut several 9” diameter by 1 1/2” thick slabs for my granddaughter’s birthday party to use as craft projects. I sealed 9 of these with this product and left 4 untreated. It’s been a month now and the treated slabs show no signs of cracking or splitting. The untreated slabs have major cracks and splits. I will definitely use this product again.

seals the end grain very well on my deck boards
I have been forced to correct a problem with the deck I built with Western Red Cedar boards 38 years ago. The ends on the boards are rotting but only in 1" so the rest of the boards are doing well. I wish I had done this when I originally built the deck. This sealer is easy to apply and dries quickly.

Works as advertised
Use this ASAP after cutting. I delayed putting this on a couple of trees while waiting for delivery, and in the heat, they started to split on end in a couple of days. On the trees that I put this on immediately after cutting, I have had no problems. If it is hot and the trees lose moisture quickly, this is essential. It is not cheap, but losing high-quality lumber is more expensive.

Saved my art work
My wood carving had become brittle and splitting. This product saved and restored the moisture and color. I coated in summer and sending review 4 months later. It's a bit tacky still but here are the before and after pics. I would use this again.

Great stuff for end cuts!
This stuff works great for end cuts of any kind of sealed wood or wood that has been sealed by your but you need to make a cut and don't want to re-do the whole thing. Just wipe/brush/smear this stuff on, let it dry and bingo it won't rot from that end. I like putting this stuff on old telephone poles and tree trunks and such that I seal and want to keep in good shape. Worth the price!
