The longer you leave it the darker it gets so if you want a light brown you leave it less time and if you want a darker brown leave it longer, you can see it getting darker as it develops

Which tint do you mix with the developing liquid? The black, blue or black/brown?

Whichever tint you use has to be mixed with the developer. If you put whichever tint you’re using into a small pot then add around 10 drops of developer. Give it a mix and you’re good to go.
