Great product that really works and is worth every penny!!!!
We have a Frigidaire side-by-side with the ice and water in the door. After having the refrigerator about a little less than a year we had to get a repair person out because the water stopped working. The appliance was still under warranty so it wasn't a big deal. The repair person told us that the water line in the door had froze up and he would replace the entire door to remedy the situation. Shortly after the warranty ran out it happened again. At that time we purchased Brita pitchers and kept them in the refrigerator because we were not going to keep paying for repair people to come out for a known defect with the appliance. After a hurricane and being without power for a couple of weeks, the door defrosted and the water worked again for about 6 months. Recently while scrolling through a site I saw a post about a Frigidaire side-by-side with the frozen water line in the door and someone recommended this product. I figured what did I have to lose. If it didn't work I'd return it; it was certainly better than paying for a repair person to come out and replace the door, and I was getting tired of being the only one to continuously fill that darn Brita pitcher. It arrived and I immediately got some of the hottest water I could from the tap, and went to work. I had to go through the process about 4 times, but after the fourth time water started coming out of the door again. I was so happy I could have jumped for joy on the spot!!! I understand the door will freeze again, but now I have this ready to remedy the situation immediately. I would definitely recommend this tool to anyone who may have the same situation. It is simple to use, works beautifully and is worth it's weight in the savings!!!!

Works Like A Champ
I’ve been having the water dispenser on the door freezing up and blocking the water dispensing. I microwave a small amount of water and suck it up, push the tubing up the outlet till it stops and push the plunger. I repeat once and it removes the ice blocking the the water from dispensing. Takes about a minute. Highly recommended.

10 Stars for this device - It saved me from having to purchase a new refrigerator
10 Stars for this device. The line for the water dispenser froze on my Frigidaire refrigerator. Not knowing what it was at first, I had a technician come over to see what was causing the water dispenser not to work. They explained that the water line in the door has some frozen water and it's really hard to clear up. I would may have to consider purchasing a new door or a whole new refrigerator.Later that day I looked up frozen water lines in refrigerators on YouTube and found out that using this tool may work.I microwaved some water in a cup for 30 seconds, and within 5 minutes of using the tool, the water dispenser started working again.

Did not unfreeze the water line in refrigerator
After unfreezing my GE refrigerator water line with a hair dryer, the water dispenser worked. It stopped working again yesterday and I used the syringe with hot water to unfreeze the line. After several attempts it still has not worked.

Works but only thanks to the internet
This works as intended. Took me 8 tries to get it unfrozen. I was about ready to give up but I looked at some YouTube videos and followed some of their suggestions and it worked. Instructions on the package are not helpful so thanks to the gadget and YouTube it now works!!
