ART Dual RP Dual Phantom Powered Mic Preamplifier

This is good to have for dynamic mics or other mics that are naturally low gain. I use it for mics that don't even need phantom power, but just a nice signal boost. Also works fine with my large diaphragm condenser mics that need phantom power. I like that I don't need any additional power plugs.

I use a mixer that supplies phantom power to microphones that plug into it. When I route my mics through the unit it is not supplying phantom power to the microphone. When I plug my microphone directly into the input the ART unit was plugged in the mic gets power. I will be returning the unit

WE have overhead mics installed at church for the choir but they need phantom power which our old amplifier does not provide. This filled the bill perfectly. The mics now work. Thank you

I purchased this product expecting it to produce phantom power. In reality, it needs to be connected to an actual preamp to "produce" phantom power. To be fair, the description does read "phantom powered," but that is easy to confuse with "phantom power supply," which is what you actually want. Buy only if you know exactly what you are buying and have a phantom power supply already.
