Good radio,
This is a simple AM/ FM radio. Plug it in, or run it on batteries. The reception is good with the long antenna. Tuning is easy and precise. The sound is good, but don’t expect Sony, Polk etc. quality. The radio looks nice and makes a nice book shelf piece.

Cute and works well
Works fantastic, just make sure you don't leave it in direct sunlight or it may kill it. I left it over spring break in the classroom and came back to it no longer working. I think it got too much sun exposure or maybe the air was turned off and it got too hot or cold. I took out the batteries and started using the power cable instead, and it works just fine again. Not sure if it was the heat affecting the batteries, or something else, but it works fine now. Sound is clear, easily picks up stations, bluetooth connects quickly and is stable.

Great Buy
Great little radio! It’s simple and exactly what I was looking for. Very happy with my purchase. Plus it looks kinda retro.

This Radio lives up to its hype
This radio has very good reception. I can get a station 60 miles away. The speaker is very clear. I am vey happy with this purchase.Updated Review: I am still so happy with this radio even after several months. The reception and sound are good, and the size makes it easy to place on a shelf. I found that the reception was even better when I placed it near the window in the direction of the station I listen too. I would recommend this as a good gift for an older radio listener. 3/3/25

You cannot reset bluetooth connection
I purchased this to use in my office. It is great, I had previously used an Anker speaker, but it had push button volume control, and the very lowest setting was way too loud (even wrapped in a towel and placed in a drawer) for an office environment. This unit has a smooth volume knob, and can go really low and never gets too loud. I love it. However (and this is why I one starred the ease of use... otherwise it would be 5... maybe its a little too easy..), I am in an office environment, and apparently, someone else has accidentally connected to it (the speaker powers on and shortly there after gives the connection beeps, but it is not to my iPad... nor my phone... nor my laptop, etc.), and now I cannot reset the bluetooth connection, put it in pair mode or anything, and my iPad will not reconnect to it. Yes, I have reset everything in the iPad, forgotten the speaker and it won't show up to be paired with before it connects to whatever else it is connecting to. Every other bluetooth speaker I have ever had has a bluetooth button that allows you to force it into pair mode. I have unplugged it for 5 minutes (and longer). I have switched it to FM and back to Bluetooth (once, thrice, five times, etc.).

Tuning is touchy but it works
The tuning is rather touchy and may be difficult for some to master, as the slightest rotation affects the tuning of the channels significantly. It almost gets in, or tries to get in, too many channels because they are so close together, and just touching without turning the dial bumps it off channel. I didn't take it apart of course to look, but it feels like the dial directly rotates a mechanical tuning capacitor rather than being geared down with a string and gears like they used to do decades ago. This one spans the entire spectrum with maybe half a turn . Other than that, the sound is decent enough, loud enough, and what you would expect for a single small mid-range speaker. Fine for talk radio; for music, ah well it is what it is. You will hear it, but don't expect bass. Batteries do last months of typical use. Didn't try the bluetooth because we have a better sounding unit for music. Lightweight, small, portable, intuitive was what we wanted. That's exactly what you get. If you want for music quality, and/or easier tuning, maybe consider upgrading to something else with stereo and larger speakers.
