We use it for the garage door. Our toddler has learned to unlock doors and this was very much needed. So far it has worked well and has kept the curious smart toddler safe indoors.

Tried Safety 1st secure mount, and returned it. This looked flimsy but is really strong. Super easy to install and use. Will update if any issues come up because my 22month old granddaughter hasn't noticed it yet or tried to open the door yet with this on.

Wish the top covered more of the deadbolt. Toddler is able to reach and unlock it. Opened to try it and now I’m stuck with a useless item.

The product is easy to install. However, my 85 pound dog broke off the piece when he pawed at the door after only 4 days. I would recommend this product for smaller dogs

Purchased these after an incident of our daughter (2) walking out of our apartment while dad was sleeping in the early am. (SHE IS OK!! She knew her way back so did our dog that she let out with her and 6 adults followed her to make sure she got back home safely) These are great for little ones that start to get curious to want to go outside on their own. super easy to install and remove. However now that we have moved and she has grown. she can still turn the deadbolt with the tip of her fingers, she’s almost 3 now and 36”.

I keep my very busy toddler great grandson. I personally don't care for the products that go on the knob, so was happy to find this for the deadbolts on my front & back doors. Easy install. Works great - just as advertised. Highly recommend it!

This is super easy to install and is effective for my 2yo. 538. Don’t think it’s going to work because she’ll be able to reach inside to change the lock but for the last year it’s been great.
