The Real Question is: What Edge Will AI Give You?
This is my seventh Jeb Blount book and by now his message, tone and style are consistent, many times repeating what bears repeating. The AI Edge is no different. AI should serve us in sales and absolutely, unequivocally will aid your in your "Fanatical Prospecting," research and writing efforts. I know AI has personally helped me in prospecting and has saved time. AI is turning Google search on its head. What used to take 1/2 hour can be culled, curated and served up in seconds with AI.AI keeps evolving, and Jeb Blount acknowledges this fact, that this book will already be somewhat dated by the time it reaches your hands, however I still found it useful and Jeb always motivates me to be successful versus delusional.AI is a powerful tool and gift. Use it honestly and it will serve you. Is AI a proverbial "silver bullet?" Sorry, you'll still have to trust and verify to master it. And work. Also, AI comes with caveats, but AI is a gift that we are lucky to be witnessing and experimenting with.The only question is: What Edge will AI give you?

Greate book for beginners in selling with AI
This is a great book for someone that is quite new to AI. Very few new things for me, but maybe I am not the right audience. However, I've got a few ideas as well and some inspiration for my HatHawk app. So, I am grateful and thankful.

Learn how to become an AI Sales PRO
One of my favorite podcasters, entrepreneur and professor Scott Galloway regularly says about Artificial Intelligence (AI):"You're not going to lose your job to AI, you're going to lose your job to someone who knows how to use AI."In my nearly 40 years in professional sales, this is the third time I’ve heard predictions that technology is going to take over my profession(Neil Rackman I'm still waiting for those 8M sales jobs to be eliminated that you forecasted in 2010) including:1997 - The Internet2010 - Social Selling2024 - AII was skeptical then, and I remain skeptical now.So when two of my favorite sales authors, Jeb Blount and Anthony Iannarino announced that they were writing a book on AI in sales, I knew that not only was some truth going to be dropped but also that they were going to show the world of professional selling how to take this tech and EMPOWER sales professionals not eliminate them.What I love about this book is that it dispels the number one lie that is being spread in the sales tech industry: "This amazing new AI-based (product name) will eliminate the time and hassle of prospecting!!!!" Just like social selling was going to eliminate prospecting... and email... and video.... and........Jeb and Anthony make it very clear, that AI when used well will enhance your prospecting, research, discovery, and closing NOT REPLACE IT. Think about it, if a $19.95 per month ChatGPT account could do the job, why is your company going to pay you???????The most useful aspect of this book is the examples of prompts that you can use in any large language model to help make your job more effective. From prompts to help with research, to prompts that help generate questions. From prompts to help compare competitors to prompts to give you feedback on your writing, this book arms you to become a power user of these new tools.So let's all agree, that if you are a TRUE sales professional, these new tools will not replace you. But if you are a TRUE sales professional, these new tools will make you more effective, more trusted, and even more successful.

THE must have book for ANYONE in Sales
If Anthony Iannarino and Jeb Blount had a baby…Well, they did, and its name is THE AI EDGE.They beat the rest of the pack to the punch with this extremely timely, OH SO relevant, TACTICAL blueprint for how to leverage AI to one-up your game. They knew the demand, and they supplied. Waste of Time
If you are looking to get ahead on AI and all it's time saving advantages you can start by not reading this book and instead read a couple websites on AI prompting. That's all this book seemed to me was 3 or 4 pages worth of prompting suggestions with another 200 pages of filler. It was not for me.
