Great starter kit, although I wish the smaller needles (40 and 42 guage) were easier to distinguish. Also, the needles in the handles aren't labled. Based on the size, I think they're either 40 or 42, but I am unable to tell for sure which size they are. I wish the individual needles were color coded, as many other brands are. I wish I had gone with another, simply for that reason. Still a fantastic product! just having to color code them on my own now.

This kit has so much in it. I just wish they would have maybe sent a paper that described all the needles and what they do. Also the specialty needles like the spiral didn't come with a guage so I have no idea what size sprial, star or cone needles I have but I still use them.

The needles and storage tubes are nice. The handles that hold one needle won’t work because the groove that holds the needle is poorly carved. The needle sits at an angle. Needle felters know that the needle needs to be straight for accuracy and avoid breakage.

I just started felting and this seems like more than enough for what a beginner would need.
