So far so good
Have this installed now about a week and it has done a great job in my 6.5m sprinter. Temps got down to -3C this week and I had this set on level 3 keeping a fairly constant 20c internal temp with the roof vent open and some fairly big air leaks around both the back and side doors respectively. The app makes using it a lot friendlier than previous non Bluetooth versions. Ability to easily set a timer is a nice touch. Easy to fit, good value for money. The only slight issue is the pump which I found to be a little noisy on the lowest setting. If I had a smaller van, I would maybe opt for a 2kw version. It’s not actually good to run these units on low constantly and I find they give the best heat around setting 3 or 4. They get very hot at level 5 and 6 but it’s nice to use when you want to warm the place quickly. The controller also gives the option to set a specific temp, however I find this function can be a bit temperamental and caused mine to constantly change from level 1 to level 5 which can be a bit annoying when going to bed, therefore I just set mine on level 3 or 4 depending on outside temp. Final note if installing these in a vehicle, make sure when you park up that you aim the exhaust away and upwind of the air intake. You really do need the fumes exiting the side or back and blowing away from your vehicle. If using overnight, You also need to check if the wind direction is going to change by morning as they can not only cause fumes to enter the cabin, but also cause a flameout. This is all from experience with other models and so far I have not experienced a single error code on this unit.

Quality, install and heat
Install was easy and self explanatory, seen comments about fuel line clips not being great and replacing them but to be honest the fuel line fits so tight I dont think upgrading the clips is necessary.I have 2 other diesel heater which are both self contained (free standing with built in fuel tank) as I thought they would be easier to install but have now swapped to this type as it takes up a lot less room as fuel tank can be installed in location of you choose.Once installed the heater fired up on 3rd attempt (once fuel had found its way to pump) and the heater fired up and started producing masses of heat. Can’t fault this product so far.

Does what it should!
Recently fitted to a 28ft long Motorhome. First thing to note is that it's not 8kw, it's 4.5kw, a copy of a well known brand with the description "D4". Which is perfectly adequate for almost anyone's needs (suspect Chinese marketing figures here). Secondly, most likely due to keeping production costs low, when fitting in a vehicle you absolutely must upgrade the ancillary parts, such as fuel supply line, fuel filter & exhaust baffle as a minimum. Otherwise, so far, having put it through several cycles, it does what it supposed to do. It heats up quickly, it runs it's shutdown process quickly and so far I have no complaints - especially for the price paid!Would have given 5 stars had it come with some automotive braided fuel line, but then again it would have had to cost more. Just be wary that you need to upgrade various elements if fitting in an automotive setting.

Easy to to get going, and pumps out loads of heat
Purchased this heater for my garden workshop after looking for sometime for one. This one in particular grabbed my attention as it has an all-metal case, and a larger mounting plate to dissipate the heat more evenly. Everything is included in the box needed to get this heater up and running. I have now fitted this to the outside of my workshop, enclosed in the box and the hot air feed and controller through the wall, all powered from as 12v power supply. Fired up first time and ever time since with no issues, have had 5L of red diesel though it and it puts out a good amount of heat even on a medium setting. Looks like it will be very efficient compared to electrical heating and can get my workshop from 4oC to 18oC in around an hour. Giving some rough calculations on fuel consumption this is around 3-5 pence an hour. Hoping it will last along time, but time will tell, seems to be made of good quality materials so fingers crossed. One thing I would suggest is not using the included fuel line, does not seem to be of good quality and feel it’s just been thrown in to get you started, don’t get me wrong it may last a good bit but was un willing to take the chance on such an important item and some good quality lines spare.

Not as hot as my 5KW heater No customer service.
I have had a cheap Chinese diesel heater for the past 3 years ago. I payed £80 for it. Fantastic heater that eventually failed on me after 1000's of hours use. Always hot even on temp H1 you could not put your hand in fromt of the blower for too long. Your hand would start to burn. My last unit was a 5KW heaterReplaced it with this unit, supposedly an 8KW unit. The size, weight and dimensions were exactly the same as my old 5KW unit. So I am not to sure it is 8KW, Label does not state the power like my last one.Fitted very easily as it everything was the same as my old unit. Even the wiring was the same and connectors the same. To be on the safe side all the wiring was replaced with the new loom. The heater worked straight away, but it was no where near as warm as my last heater. My hand could be held close to thew outlet vent and my hand did not burn, even after 60 seconds. Even after 1 hour on H6 my van was no where near as warm as it used to be.Not sure if it is a faulty unit or I have got a 2KW version, but I will be asking for replacement or refund. The bluetooth and the timer works fine though and would be useful.
