Started off with the wrong foot, but still managed to exceed my expectations.
I’ve had an interesting experience with this portable diesel heater, but overall, I’m really impressed with it. My first unit worked great for about 6–7 hours before the pump stopped working. I was using some very old, possibly contaminated diesel, so that might have been the issue. When I tried to return it, I learned it’s non-returnable due to the fuel content. However, Amazon was kind enough to give me a voucher for about 80% of the value, and I decided to order a second unit.Since I already knew the pump was the problem and didn’t want to uninstall everything, I swapped the pump from the new unit to the old one. That solved the issue! The heater has been working flawlessly for about five days now. The swap took me about 1.5 hours since I was figuring things out as I went, but it was surprisingly easy to service. I also contacted the manufacturer, who promised to send a replacement pump. It’s been about 10 days, and I’m still waiting—likely due to shipping from China during the holiday rush. In the meantime, I now have a full set of spare parts from the second unit, so it worked out well!Performance and Features:This heater puts out a ton of heat and is perfect for my needs. I’m using it to warm up a 1,000 sq. ft. space in sub-freezing temperatures, and it keeps the area warm enough to comfortably wear just a shirt. It uses about 1 gallon of diesel per day, which feels very efficient. One of the standout features is the altitude sensor, which adjusts the fuel-to-air ratio based on air pressure. This ensures the cleanest and most efficient burn possible. It’s even sensitive enough to account for normal changes in barometric pressure, which I find impressive.I also measured the exhaust gases, and at max power, the temperature was around 70°C, meaning minimal heat is lost through the combustion exhaust. Very efficient!Setup Tips:I mounted my unit indoors, but the included exhaust pipe was too short, so I had to buy a longer one. You’ll also want an adapter to ensure that the hot exhaust pipe doesn’t touch your walls, as it can get up to 220°C with the included short pipe (but much cooler with a longer one like mine). If noise is an issue, you can mount it outside and pipe the heated air inside, though that setup might require larger holes in your walls and a way to protect the heater from the rain.User Experience:The Bluetooth functionality is fantastic! I can monitor and control the heater from a few rooms away, which is incredibly convenient. It’s a feature I wouldn’t skip. One minor inconvenience is that you can’t easily see how much fuel is left without opening the unit. To fix this, I cut a small opening in the plastic lid to check the tank at a glance—problem solved in 15 minutes. The unit is generally easy to operate and service. There were no leaks, except for one time when I overfilled the tank while it was running. Even then, the risk of fire is minimal since it’s diesel. I haven’t noticed any smell of fumes or fuel indoors. The outside combustion exhaust may have a slight odor during the initial start-up, but once it’s running, the combustion is so efficient that there’s almost no visible exhaust and there's zero smell.Pros and Cons:I love that you can set a specific temperature and let the heater adjust its power or even turn off altogether, all automatically based on room temp. Alternatively, you can manually set a fixed power level. The heater also comes with cables to connect to a 12V battery, though I’ve been running it from a wall outlet with no issues, using the included power adapter. My only complaint is the noise. If you’re using it in a living space, you might want to consider mounting it outside, though that comes with trade-offs in efficiency and bigger holes in your wall.Final Thoughts:Overall, this is a fantastic heater, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. It’s powerful, efficient, and loaded with useful features. For a workspace or emergency heating, it’s perfect for indoor use as long as you vent the exhaust gases properly. Highly recommended!

Working like a champ!!
At first I was worried after reading all the reviews on diesel heaters and hearing the horror stories some people have had. The unit came well packaged, all parts were as advertised. After unpacking I inspected the unit and it looks sound and well built. Like most, the directions are not the best, but if you take your time you can figure it out. The few things you have to put together are easy to figure out via the pictures. The directions on the App are easier and better to understand. I set it up, primed it and turned it on. System came up first time. The fan and pump do make noise but it's nothing annoying. Love the heat it pumps out. I'm using this in a 6'X12' box trailer camper conversion and it will keep it at 60 degrees on level 1 when it's in the low 20s at night. All three input options work, the front panel, keychain and app. I am extremely happy with this purchase.***Update***Have been using the heater all winter without any problems, I've never let it run out of file and it always comes on when needed. The timers are nice but the thermostat function is +- 6 so that is a huge swing and useless to me. I have five timers set for the night, it will come on to the level it was last on, I have it on two and run it for 30 minutes. Warms up the camper and with them spread out I'm never cold. This heater has gone above and beyond even with the few issues it has. Will buy another if ever needed.

Very happy overall, but not fully waterproof.
Very happy with this heater! My only gripe is its not completely waterproof. The whole point of using this heater, for me at least, is to go out during the fall and spring shoulder seasons, which can have some decent precipitation where I live. I bought a little tarp that I'll hook to the underside of my camper, and then stake to the ground to act as a little tent and that works just fine to keep it dry. Anyways, on to my observations: The heat is awesome, I've only needed to use it on setting 3 at the most and it heats up my truck-bed camper just fine. The app is great, no complaints. The clicking noise of the fuel pump is fairly prominent at first, but it quiets down after about 20min - the heater has some sort of warming up period I think, not the initial start up, but I think it needs to pump and burn some fuel for a while (~20min) and then it sort of hits it's stride. The only noise apparent after 20min is a white noise of the engine and blower, which like I said is white noise and quite nice to fall asleep to. I've had no leaks and I cant detect any overpowering smell. Only time it's not fun smell-wise is fueling it up at the gas station, but just be very careful and wipe down everything after you fuel it up and you'll be fine. A few other things to note: the exhaust is 3.5inches - they don't really make 3.5" exhaust hoses, so I had to buy a hose coupler. I went with this one: https://www.amazon.com/Mishimoto-MMCP-3035BK-Silicone-Transition-Coupler/dp/B08KF9PVBR?ref_=ast_sto_dp I hooked it up straight to the briefcase, then bought the standard black hose you see recommended on Amazon, this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QK6FVNX/ref=dp_iou_view_item?ie=UTF8&th=1 it's not a bad hose, it actually is slightly insulated and has two layer which helps stop rips etc. I used some gorilla tape on both ends of the hose where it hooks up to the coupler and the camper, this makes the attachment points much more durable. It's also best to use thumb screw style hose clamps, and I also bought some of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D78PJBCJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 to hook up to the camper exhaust port. All in all, its pretty remarkable technology at a great price. See the picture of my set-up attached!!! its been a dream of mine for A LONG TIME to have a rig like this!
