Yes, you can not to install the front door/rear panel.

Does this rack have a rear door?

No, two removeable side panels and a glass front door. These are enough get to the patch panels inside the rack cabinet. The back panel is used to hang the cabinet to the wall tightly.

What size is the included cooling fan?

The size is written in Chinese. However, the mounting screws, measured diagonally, are 6" apart. The fan mounts on the top panel. I bought a second fan for the bottom panel and that 2nd fan, although identical in size, is extremely noisy.
